I loved this place so much, I almost don't want too many people to know about it! It's an old building, and I really appreciate how it perfectly balances a charming, classic atmosphere with cleanliness. In the kitchen, there was a retro bento box. At first, I thought it was just decoration, but the room guide suggested using it to buy side dishes at the market. That made me really want to come back for a longer stay and actually use it! Even if you don't go to the main street of Chinatown, there are several popular Thai-Chinese restaurants nearby. The station is close, and there are street food stalls, so walking around is never boring. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven and a Mini Big C right next door, which is incredibly convenient. There's no elevator, but when I checked in, they told me to just ask if I needed help with my luggage at check-in and check-out. A small heads-up: they sent instructions for self-check-in and asked me to contact them via WeChat. When I arrived at the accommodation, I found a WhatsApp contact, so if you use WhatsApp, it shouldn't be an issue. However, I did wonder what someone without either app would do.

The hotel is not far from Yaowarat (Chinatown), close to Wat Kanikaphon temple. There's a Big C Mini supermarket opposite the hotel and a 7-Eleven just across the street. You can walk to Wat Mangkon MRT station. There's a coffee shop on the ground floor of the hotel. There's no front desk or reception area; you contact the owner by phone. A foreign staff member will then bring the key and help with luggage. I didn't feel very safe as I was a woman staying alone. The door only locks with the doorknob, and there's no deadbolt from the inside. The door next to the bed behind the curtain is an old push-style door, tied with a rope 😓😫. You enter and exit through the coffee shop using a code when the coffee shop is closed. The room is cute and feels cozy like home. The bathroom is reasonably clean. In my room, the air conditioning wasn't cold, and I understood why they provided a fan. When I opened the fridge, there was free ice cream. But what I couldn't accept and felt really bad about was the water provided by the hotel; it was refilled into bottles. I didn't dare drink it because I wasn't sure about the cleanliness, whether the bottles were washed properly, or if someone had previously drunk from them with their lips touching the rim. I really hope they improve this.

The hotel is quite new, clean, and beautiful. I’m very satisfied with my 2-night stay here. It’s located right on the main road, with a mini Big C directly opposite and a 7-11 nearby, which is super convenient—no worries even when returning late at night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place near the Chinatown area!

The quick email responses and flexible arrangements were really helpful. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, which was lovely. Although we had to travel to reach the tourist spots, it wasn't too much of a hassle.

It is my first time staying in Chinatown for me. The room is on the third floor with stairs. The room doesn't have soundproof and is facing street noise which is quite loud, but ear plugs are provided. The aircon works slow and is not cool enough when I arrive in the afternoon but the room has a fan which helps a lot to sleep. There is a small kitchen corner in the room with a microwave and kettle. Downstairs have a small cafe and also nice services.

Firstly, this place is about 10min walk from Wat Mangkon station. I am a female solo traveller and I felt safe walking back at night because of how brightly lit this particular road is. On this walk back to the hotel from the station, you will pass by two big temples and a big police station, which is extra reassuring. Hotel is also opposite a bigger than normal 7/11, which is very convenient. The room is very clean and quite new looking, very nicely furnished. The room even has a microwave, utensils, plates and bowl which came in very handy when taking away food from the Chinatown night market that only packed food in plastic bags. I enjoyed my stay. The only issue I had was the noise. The building does not block noise well. So you will hear every motorbike that revs and every guest that open and closes the door. I was very lucky that my neighbours were not too loud but still I could hear them opening and closing the door. Wear the ear plugs provided. I had a good stay and I will happily return!
