ARNI HEXA Hotel at MRT Samyan

This was my favorite accommodation on this trip. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, and communication in Chinese was very smooth. It's very close to Samyan MRT station, and right outside the station are two large shopping malls, which is super convenient. It's also not far from major attractions like the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Chinatown. The room looked exactly like the pictures online, and they even folded towels into various animals – on the first day, it was an elephant and a scorpion, and on the second, it was a rabbit and a bear.

Why would a room with such a strong formaldehyde smell even be listed on the platform for check-in? I saw comments mentioning an odor… but this isn't just a slight smell… it’s an extremely pungent formaldehyde odor… and there are even guests with children staying here… It's like they didn't treat the smell at all, just painted and opened for business? The next day, I even saw someone painting the room number plaque right outside the door… Honestly, I laughed out loud when the staff came in with an air freshener and sprayed a couple of times… Can that deodorizer really get rid of formaldehyde? I highly do not recommend this place.

Everything was great. The hotel is wonderful, the staff helped me carry my heavy suitcase up to the 4th floor, and when I was leaving, they helped me take it to the taxi. The hotel itself is very clean and located in an alley, so it wasn't noisy. There are many massage parlors nearby, and a 7/11 is within walking distance. There are also many attractions that can be reached on foot.

The hotel lobby smells great and is very comfortable. The housekeepers are all lovely and friendly; they proactively help guests with their luggage. The room is cleaned daily, and the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The only downside is that the bathroom door is very difficult to open and close, but everything else is excellent. The MRT is right at the alley entrance, making transportation very convenient! 👍

For this price point, this hotel offers really great value for money. The front desk staff speak Chinese and are very welcoming. Trip.com even offered a late check-out. Although it's located in a small alley, the room was clean and odor-free. You can reach a 7-Eleven within 5 minutes, and there are many massage places nearby. It's close to Samyan MRT and Samyan Mitrtown, and not far from Chulalongkorn University Night Market and Siam Square. My only complaints are that the shower and sink drained slowly – I hope they fix that soon – and people talking loudly in the stairwell late at night. Earplugs solved the latter problem. Other than that, everything was great and I recommend it. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Amenities: No toothbrushes, but there's a hairdryer, slippers, and shower gel. No elevator. Cleanliness: Spotless and very clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. Location: Excellent location near Sam Yan MRT station, close to Chulalongkorn University and Silom Road. Service: Warm and friendly, the staff are all fantastic! 👍

A very charming small hotel with a fantastic location. Upon arrival, the taxi driver had a bit of trouble finding it on the rather narrow alley. However, being 200 meters to MRT Sam Yan in one direction and 200 meters to the entertainment of Patpong in the other, plus 2 km to MBK and Paragon, makes its location almost perfect. Everything is new and clean. There's a small fridge and a kettle, with two bottles of water provided daily. The ladies at the reception are very sweet and helpful. The rooms are small, but perfectly comfortable if you're just using them for sleeping.

Had a very pleasant trip, and I'll definitely be back to stay at this hotel again next time.
