Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok

For 700 [local currency], this hotel is equivalent to a 400 RMB hotel like 'All Seasons' back home. The first room I was given had an adjoining door, which felt unsafe. I went to the front desk to switch, and they gave me a room facing the street. The hotel isn't on a main road, it's on a small lane, but there are still occasional motorbike noises. The curtains offer no blackout at all; they let in all the light. I won't be staying at this hotel a second time.

Had a great experience here! The service and facilities were excellent. The location is super convenient, really close to the BTS Skytrain, and major shopping malls like Central World are within walking distance. The best part is how quiet it is; it's set back a bit from the main road, which completely cuts out the noise from passing motorbikes! I also used the hotel's pool, and it was very clean. My friend said they'd definitely stay here again next time, haha.

The lobby staff speak Chinese and are very friendly, but they do require a deposit! The location is great, very convenient for getting around, whether by taxi or tuk-tuk. The hotel breakfast is pretty good, with both Chinese and Western options.

The location is super convenient! It's a 5-minute walk to the Erawan Shrine and very close to the BTS station. Given how bad traffic can be in Bangkok, staying here made getting around so much easier. The hotel isn't right on the main road, so it was pretty quiet at night – we couldn't hear the motorcycles and tuk-tuks, which was a huge plus. We booked a room with a bathtub, and the bathroom had plenty of mirrors, which was great for me and my girlfriends.
