Arguably, we had the best view of any hotel room at Bangkok! Excellent service and highly recommend it.

The view is really, really good. The hotel staff are also very friendly. It was raining a lot and I couldn't find a taxi, so I went out with my suitcase and carried my luggage to the taxi stop. The staff was very friendly. The air conditioner emits a bit of a hoarse smell, but you can take that into account. It was a really nice accommodation.

Amazing

It's a bit like a hotel with a B&B. There are only 6 rooms in total. Each room can directly see Temple Arun. The view is very beautiful during the day and at night. The room facilities are a bit old, but the view is still worth it. Although there is a premium for booking a Spring Festival room in advance, it is still good to stay here when all the luxury hotels have outrageous prices. The Grand Palace and Wat Pho are right next to it, and the pier to Wat Arun is at the next intersection. The hotel's own restaurant is downstairs, and dining on the rooftop should be possible, but there seems to be a minimum consumption. Now breakfast is no longer on the rooftop, but is downstairs, with a la carte staple food and some buffets. The overall quality is pretty good.

I was worried that only the view would be good, but I was very surprised by the good facilities and service. The cost of accommodation was not worth it at all.

First of all, the scenery was outstanding. The place where Wat Arun looks so beautiful is I think this hotel is number one. However, please note that there are only a few rooms available, so if you don't make a reservation early, they will fill up. The hotel staff were also very nice. *I have attached a photo taken from the hotel room.

It was so good.. If you can reserve this accommodation, definitely do it. No matter what time of day I saw you, you were so pretty. There were some reviews saying there were ants, but I didn't see any! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It was my first time eating Pad Thai here and I ate only Pad Thai throughout Bangkok haha. The amenities were very good and Netflix was available so I could watch TV. Two bottles of water are also free.

Opposite the Arun Temple, it is suitable for taking pictures. You can come and stay for one night to experience it. There is a restaurant on the roof. If you don’t want to stay, you can also go up to eat. There is an MRT and a dock nearby, and the transportation is quite convenient.

I'm very satisfied with the location. It's really beautiful. I didn't want to sleep at night. The service is also good. The room is clean and big. It's just that it was Chinese New Year when I went there. It's too expensive😝 But I will stay there next time

Beautiful clean hotel near all temples, ferries and sights. The front desk staff took care and attention to making sure all our needs were met and the view from our room was unbelievable. They serve breakfast in the morning that is made on the spot and the quality is perfect. It’s actually the same kitchen that they have a restaurant in on the top floor with a bar. It was delicious to have authentic Thai food for breakfast… Watch the chilies! I cannot say enough about all of our travels in Southeast Asia this trip. People have been so kind and helpful. This is no exception and he will be quite pleased with your stay..

Great little hotel on river with view of Wat Arun. It was a little difficult to find at first as it is tucked down an alleyway and the sign is quite small! The taxi has to drop you at the entrance to the road as there is building work going on next door (not noisy though) and tourists walk down to take photos. There is no lift so access is an issue for elderly or disabled guests. They take your luggage up in a small lift though to your room. We were on the 3rd floor which was hard going in the heat at times. The room itself was nice, clean and had all we needed. Breakfast was made to order in the small reception area. We ate in the rooftop restaurant first night which was really good and had mocktails too. Our balcony looked straight at Wat Arun and the river, an amazing sight. We got the ferry to Icon Siam mall which was cheap but quick and fun and just 5 mins walk from hotel to the port. Walked to royal palace from hotel and also the Reclining Buddha temple which was stunning. Shops nearby and various cafes.

Wow wow wow! This place was amazing! First you are hit by the majestic view of Wat Arun which is literlly across the river. Walking distance from other temples and the palace. Great food spots around too! Amazing Resturant at the top of the road! Called TANA, that’s a must try! Sooooo good we went there twice! Including the pictures for TANA too! The staff are amazing, so helpful and welcoming. There are no lifts, but this didn’t bother us.

We stayed at the Arun Riverside Hotel in old town Bangkok for 5-nights in early-Jan ($334 Can/night). Located down a short, narrow side-street, the 5-story, 6-room boutique hotel has the best view in Bangkok, across the fascinating, busy river to Wat Arun. Our 3d floor river-view junior suite was as described on the website, spacious, elegantly decorated with white ceilings and walls with dark-wood highlights, flooring and furnishings. It was equipped with a large TV (never used it), in-room safe, large mini-refrigerator, automatic air-freshener, large couch, desk and chair, and cabinets with plenty of room for clothes storage. The bathroom was also large, all marble with modern fixtures, a full bathtub, and a separate walk-in shower. The crowning feature was the full width window and glass deck door with the river view, fascinating to watch with the constant buzz of commuter and tourists boats during the day, large brightly-lit sunset and dinner cruises in the evening. And Wat Arun, spectacular at any time, but especially when lit at night. The deck chairs provided comfortable viewing in the evening after the heat of the day had passed. Our room was on the middle of the three floors of rooms was the best location; the view from the lower floor rooms was partially obstructed by tarps and netting, while the upper floor was prone to noise from the popular bar and restaurant above. Breakfast was excellent, an a la carte selection of western and Thai courses, fruit plates, juices, coffee. The staff were universally friendly and helpful, and most spoke English. The hotel was a superb base for local sightseeing. The Temple of the Reclining Buddha was across the road from the hotel; turn left, walk 100 m to the next intersection, turn right and you are at the entrance (turn left for the cross-river ferry to Wat Arun). A further 10 min walk N along the Palace's wall passing the Naval Wives Club is the second crossroad; turn right to the Royal Palace's entrance, turn left to Tha Chang Pier for the express and tourist river ferries. Overall, the Arun Riverside is an excellent choice for a bit of splurge stay in Bangkok.
