Reviews of The Star of Sathorn

The best reason is its close proximity to Wongwain Yai BTS station, from which you can visit many renowned places of interest such as Icon Siam, Wat Arun and Wat Pho and all the royal palaces, Chinatown and the new Siam Museum. Many buses too go to those places. The other reason for staying at The Star of Sathorn is their many theme rooms and the wonderful bed which provides a welcome respite after a full day's shopping, eating and visiting interesting places.

I like Leo a lot because he is highly professional and very helpful and handsome. I think all who stay there will like Leo the manager.

Everything was great, absolutely amazing stuff and so on. But. Transparent glass between bedroom and WC is such a weird thing… Maybe you guys could have add at least curtains?

What a lovely hotel. My room was very clean and had all the amenities. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The manager upgraded me to free drinks and snacks from the lobby, a very nice gesture. The hotel is on a busy little street and the motorcycle taxi noise is loud, it did quiet down around 11 or so. My only real issue was that my ride to the airport was not arranged, as I was told it was. This caused me to be short on time at the airport which stressed me out. I would recommend this place thought.

Accommodated late check in. Spacious room. Central location. Nice furnishing, but slightly old feel. Bed is too soft.

The hotel location is near from icon siam, you can use grab or bolt to get over there. If you want to go to the central bangkok you can use bts and its a walking distance from the hotel. Many small stall food and 7 eleven is in front of the hotel. The hotel condition is very clean and comfort. Minus the soundproofing a little bit bad. In the middle of the night we can heard ppl form the street talking and chatting. But overall the hotel its worth the money.

Beautiful Hotel, great location, 200-300 metres from BTS station. Hotel was great if a little, dare I say ‘camp’ Pinks and Purples and ‘chintz’ everywhere. But as a solo traveller for one night it was good. The Receptionist/Manager was super helpful. Such a lovely happy fella. Free tea/coffee and soft drinks down in the lovely reception lounge, but none in the rooms?? Mini Bar yes, Kettle yes, but no Tea & Coffee. As a British guy, we crave that 1st cup of tea in a morning. In fact that is the only thing that stops me giving this Hotel 5 stars all round.. I did mention it to the super helpful chap at reception and he promised to look into it. But overall 4.8/5.

I will never forget my stay at Star of Sathorn. It was wonderful! The manager is very friendly and goes out of his way to ensure you are well taken care of. The room was tidy and the location was excellent, right next to BTS/ 711 and local Thai food restaurants within walking distance. Wifi was very fast. Great place if you are the adventurous type and prefer to walk off the beaten path, many locals around, all very friendly.

Very good location and the room is good

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff that are always willing to help. Positioned 5 minute walk from the BTS so the whole city is easily accessible. I have stayed here more than once now.

1. Location is quite good. It is walking distance to BTS. Less than 5 minutes walk. 2. The room is small but should be sufficient for solo or couple stay. 3. The bed is comfortable and the air-condition is very good. Strong cooling effect 4. Toilet is big and comfortable except that the hot water from the water heater is not consistent. At times it is too hot and at times it is cold. 5. It is owned by ********* boss and the counter staff is helpful as he speaks Chinese. And I am from Singapore and is comfortable with the Chinese language. 6. The front desk is not 24 hours and access to the hotel is by door code. 7. I do not mind staying at this hotel again.
