Reviews of Nantra Ekkamai Hotel

The hotel was so clean, it smells good, especially the lobby has coffee area which I really like the most . If you just need the basics, a comfy mattress , good fresh pillows and duvet, keen air con, and a hot water shower, you can't beat Nantra. On a quiet soi 3 minutes from the BTS at Ekamai, it makes the whole center of Bangkok

GOOD LOCATION, HORRIBLE ROOM Only stayed here for the location, arrived from Pattaya at the bus station close to the guesthouse.. next morning had to go back to bus station on the way to Hua Hin The room itself, see below.. PROS: *convenient location, next to BTS and bus station CONS: *Very old fashioned building *No ventilation at all - extremely stuffy *Very small and cramped room *No amenities - no toothbrush, no hairdryer, no kettle, no kettle, etc. *Badly designed bathroom - no sink in the restroom, instead they placed it outside in the main room right beside the bed. Never seen such stupidity *AC leaking , water got all over the bed *Walls were very dirty and started to fall apart *Moldy walls, can get sick here if staying for long periods If you need a place to stay for one night and on a tight budget, I guess it's okay, but for 2 nights or more there are much better options in Bangkok.With the mold in the room, I would not come here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The good and bad comments about the hotel are true. Yes. Convenience. Yes, it is inexpensive. Yes, budget style and not overly appealing. Also, in need of a lot of changes to include fixtures plumbing electrical and tv connections. If you just need a bed near the bus and BTS.. it's ok. Beyond the basics, it's better to look elsewhere. Spend a few more baht, and you can secure a much better place.

Pros - Good location. Close to Sukhumit Rd and BTS Ekkamai station. Friendly staff Cons - Tiny room. When asked if I could get a bigger one. They said all rooms are same size. Broken toilet seat

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. A no-frills hotel that offers all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

I stayed here for just one night, and honestly, the only appeal is its proximity to the nearby bus terminal. Even then, I believe there are likely better options closer to it. The hotel gave off a bit of a 'motel' vibe upon first impression. It's more suited for backpackers or those looking for basic accommodations. There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste provided, and within the first five minutes in the room, I noticed two mosquitoes flying around. Definitely not a place for those with high expectations or anyone looking for comfort.

Perfect if you are stopping in the city just for travel or waiting for flight/transport. Small, clean and cheap. Close to ekkamai station so perfect if you wanna catch an early bus to pattaya, or are coming back to BK late.

I like this group of hotels. I've stayed at two and they are in good locations and nice enough for the price. Anything less is a hostel. What more do you want?

Room was very dirty with yellow urine stained blankets. If you remove the already dirty pillow covers, the pillow itself has blood and are stained pure yellow with sweat. There was not a single clean thing about the bedsheets, linen or towels. There were also a lot of mosquitos and ants in the room and I got bitten by them. Not happy.

The room is small. lucky that I am alone, so there is no problem. The staff will not clean the room and give more water if you do not request. TV is very bad.

It is a small establishment in Ekamai area. The location is convenient as there are restaurants and supermarket nearby. However, the ceiling inside the room maybe needs to be repainted as there are water stains probably from previous leak. The hotel also provided utensils at lobby area, and there is huge fridge where you can leave your refrigerated items. The receptionist at the lobby speaks limited English, however, to communicate with them, I use google translate to make them understand my request. Overall it is a decent hotel, even though the room is small.
