Normally, I don't bother writing negative reviews.
But this hotel is openly prejudiced against Chinese people!
1. The front desk service is terrible. When interacting with white foreigners, they speak in a sweet tone, smile, are polite, and even put their hands together in a respectful gesture. For Chinese guests, they put on a stern, cold, and indifferent face, not even a smile. The slim receptionist, in particular, was the worst.
2. The deposit was supposed to be 500. Seeing we were Chinese, she asked for 1000, claiming she couldn't make change for 500, so she insisted on taking 1000 as a deposit.
3. We stayed for one day and wanted to extend for a few more hours (due to a late flight). The receptionist first said we could extend for 5 hours at 100 Thai Baht per hour. Then, she suddenly said hourly extensions weren't allowed. When we asked her if she hadn't just said it was possible, she changed her mind again, saying the maximum extension was 4 hours, and then coldly stated that there was no room for further negotiation. I bet it would have been different if we were white.
4. Take a good look at the clock on the wall; it's quite telling. You can draw your own conclusions.
5. None of their many receptionists bother to learn Chinese; they only speak English and Thai.
6. We switched to the Bangkok Thong Ta Resort and Spa, just a few hundred meters away. It was even cheaper, and the receptionists spoke excellent Chinese, were friendly, polite, and even proactively helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. They left immediately after assisting, without waiting for a tip. It was truly great; I recommend it to my fellow Chinese travelers.
We've given them too much credit for looking down on Chinese people. We won't be staying at your hotel.
