Great place to stay. Only minus is, that they don't open the balcony, when you sty alone...

Lebua State Tower delivers an experience that feels both spacious and elevated—literally. The rooms are impressively large, and the riverside views are nothing short of stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The breakfast is a real standout as well: incredibly varied, beautifully presented, and easily one of the best spreads you’ll find in the city. Service throughout the hotel is consistently excellent. Everything feels clean, well-maintained, and supported by a team of genuinely friendly staff who make the stay feel effortless. Overall, it’s close to perfect. The only real downside is the swimming pool. It gets sun only in the morning, which leaves the water uncomfortably cold for most of the day. If the pool is a priority, this might be a consideration. Still, for comfort, views, and service, Lebua remains a fantastic choice.

The room is super spacious with kitchen equipped. The most epic part is the rooftop, with 360 view of Bangkok! Wine is a bit pricey, we took 2 glasses of red wine and cost around 80€.

Beautiful on top of everything

The concierge team Mind and Kealy are the best. Mind greeted you every day by name, and couldn’t do enough for you. I even convinced her to sing with me accompanying the lobby pianist. Kelly was very knowledgeable and professional as well. Breakfast buffet is a must try!

Overall, it’s a great place to stay. By the end of our trip we felt happy and relaxed, but at the very beginning there were a few issues. The check-in process took more than 40 minutes, and we were sent to the wrong suite, which wasn’t ready (maintenance was still going on). They did upgrade us to a better room and sent complimentary treats — big respect to them for that. Because of this, we saw two different room types, and I can say they were very different! The more expensive rooms are much better and have a decent view. Despite booking a Large One-Bedroom Suite, the original room didn’t feel worth the price they charge. Breakfast is really worth it — I was especially impressed with the drip coffee station where you can grind beans and make your own pour-over coffee. The gym and swimming pool are just the bare minimum for a hotel of this class. The most annoying part was the construction work at the hotel entrance. The main lobby was closed because of it, so you have to enter either through the car park (with no sidewalk, of course) or through a half-closed entrance covered in dust.

The reviews I read were correct. While nice, the hotel is showing its age and for the price, you're better off looking elsewhere if you're on a business trip. The breakfast had a great selection of items but was  really just ok. However, if you're looking to have something not included, for example a Coke, be prepared to spend GBP10 for a single can. At that price, the refrigerator in the room is stacked with free drinks so it's best to bring them down to the pool or wherever else you'd like to go. Important note: they have locked the balconies for guests staying in the room on their own. You can guess why but it's enormously frustrating to have a great view of the river and city and not be able to walk out to enjoy it. They'll tell you to go to the roof but who really wants to head up to an often crowded rooftop for something that is just outside your window?

It was our very first overseas trip together, and although we were both quite tired from work, we chose to celebrate our birthdays with this journey. What we experienced at Lebua at State Tower was nothing short of magical. The service was exceptional, and we were truly touched by the thoughtful gestures throughout our stay. A special thank you to the wonderful front desk team for their kindness, and to the F&B team for celebrating our birthdays in such a memorable way. Because of this experience, we are already planning to return next year. Thank you for making our trip so joyful and unforgettable.
