This hotel is brand-new, and has immense potential. It's a shame that I have to write this negative review, but I'm hoping it can spur the hotel to do much better in several areas. We discovered this newly built hotel from a local friend and decided to book four nights during the festive season. Upon arrival, the check-in process took much longer than expected. This was in-part due to the poor command of English by most of the staff. We were assigned a room in Tower A and Tower B. Tower A rooms are much more convenient as the pool and gym are located on the same tower. The rooms itself were great, but there were many small issues which hampered the experience during our stay. For example, the shower drain drains water very slowly, resulting in an overflow everytime you take a shower. The water pressure itself was decent but they need to solve the drainage issues, because we had several different rooms during our stay and every room had the same problem. Other than that, the rooms were great. The power points have USB-A and USB-C inlets, so you don't need an adapter when staying at this hotel, a very thoughtful point. Next, the breakfast buffet was decent. Bangkok hotels are famous for their excellent breakfast buffets. I have stayed in countless hotels in Bangkok, and the benchmark continues to be Centara Grand at CentralWorld for breakfast. Samala's breakfast buffet had a variety of options. The great thing is that the dishes are different every day, so you'll never have a boring breakfast. The bad news is that in terms of taste, its not consistent. For example, there was one morning which had Hainanese Chicken Rice served, and I nearly vomited after tasting it. On another day, there was Green Curry Chicken served, and it was amazing. Speaking of breakfast, I want to highlight the excellent service by Mr. Tong, which I believe is the manager of the breakfast service. Mr. Tong was very attentive and checked-in on us to make sure everything was fine. Interestingly, he spoke much better English than half the front desk staff so perhaps he should be there instead! Last but not least, I want to provide some inputs about the service. It was very inconsistent. Most of the staff at the hotel were very friendly, particularly the concierge, which was amazing at making dining reservations and providing recommendations for lunch/dinner. The front desk staff were also very friendly, and I managed to have a good chat with the front desk manager on several occasions. She had a good command of English, together with a woman who appeared fierce but was very friendly, but the same can't be said for the rest of the staff. They had some of the worse English I have ever seen in any hotel. Bangkok is an international tourist destination, and if the front desk can't get English right, it's better they are moved to other parts of the hotel. I like this hotel very much. I stay here every time I come to Thailand. On average, I stay here twice a year for 10 nights each time. However, the service in the past two times has made me feel that it is not as good as before. When I came last time, the room was cleaned every day. There is no supply of daily necessities and only one towel. This time, I will leave the room at 10 am every morning and press the signal to clean the room. I will return to the room to rest for a while after 3:30 pm every day, but when I enter the room Later, I found that the room was not cleaned, so I went back to the location and informed the service area staff to arrange cleaning. The room was not cleaned not for one day, but for 3 consecutive days. Please really make me lose my expected plan.

I have stayed in the hotel many times throughout the last 3 years. I only had praises for this hotel always, in regards to location, amenities and the comfort. However upon my recent stay I realised that the lack of service at the front desk has declined. I noticed alot of new staff and honestly I did not have the same experience as had the previous times. The only employees that's were great were the concierge, the individual that checked me in and the house keeping. The rest of the front desk need to be trained to be more polite and adhere to a customers requirements. Unfortunately for reasons I will no longer stay here from this experience.

We used it until the departure of the midnight flight. So I didn't sleep. The building is quite old, but the room facilities are firm. There are also tables, refrigerators and safety boxes. There is also an outlet on the pillow. There is also a bathtub. The size is also a problematic size. It was a room on the 6 floor, but there was a BTS Nana station platform at the close distance ahead of the window of the room. It's quite noisy when the train passes. The room on the side of the Sukhumvit Street on the 5th and 6th floors seems to be the front of the platform. If you want a quiet room, you should request a room opposite to Sukhumvit Street. The location is zero minutes walk from the entrance of Nana Station. Very convenient location, but it is a hotel for people who want to stay reasonable because it is old.

My stay for celebrate my birthday at Sindhorn Kempinski is very memorable impressive. My room is grand premier room. This room is spacious and all well maintained. Luxury with contemporary thai design. In this room has kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine etc. private balcony. With craftsmanship card and delicious HBD card that fulfill my birthday stay. Service staff are top notch. Friendly and helpful. They always look around to assistant to ensure my stay memorable. Newest Ki Izakaya Japanese Restaurant at 9th floor, highly recommended. Quality ingredients. Staff at there are excellent service. Especially K. Oh. There are bakery shop near flourish restaurant as well. Breakfast is definitely won't be disappointed. Croissant the best. All food set as buffet plus delicious a la carte. The green space in front of the hotel let’s you out of the busy city. Swimming pool with serenity view instagrammer don’t miss it to strike a pose. Last point, Lobby so stunning. I guarantee you have to pick a phone to take a picture for sure. Afternoon tea at lobby lounge, must try. I will be back again and again to stay at Sindhorn Kempinski.

This hotel proved to be well above my expectations, it's a 4 stars but you feel like you're in a 5 stars. There are many amenities in the room and the swimming pool on the 12th floor is excellent. The Internet is very fast, which is essential for my work. The location is also very advantageous, very close to the metro and shopping malls. I will definitely book again in the future.

The Hotel is great. We took the 2 bedrooms apartment. As some members of my family are having their birthday on the month that we stayed, the staffs surprised us with a birthday cake a d beautifully decorated room. The Breakfasts are delicious and served only when you ordered. Hence minimised food wastages. Every bedroom comes with a washing machine that has tumbler drying function, as well as a well equipped kitchen. Encourage those with family to choose this hotel that is close to the shopping malls with many good food. Highly recommended place and hotel to stay with elderly, children and toddler. Thank you.

This hotel is in a great location, close to BTS Nana train, Station 21 mall, good massage place. Right out the corner of the street has a great noodle store that opens from 8am to 4am (20 hours). Hotel personnel are all very friendly, helpful and kind. Always smile and willing to help where needed. After 3 days of stay, it changed my entire bad first day experience to an awesome stay. But to be fair, I still need to deduct 1 star due to the check in mess. I would pick this hotel again in the future if the price is right again. Original review on 14 Jul 2023 First day check in experience was a mess. I booked executive room and requested the front desk for a connected room. They said ok so we waited. Few hours later, we got the rooms and to our surprise, it's a Premier room instead of executive room. The front desk didn't inform us up front since I paid extra $$ to get a larger room. Ask the front desk about it and now they said they can change it back for the exec room but cannot guarantee and connected room. What a bummer. I even tried to ask since we are in a cheaper room, what if they add breakfast for us and we keep the smaller connected room, they said no. Such a rigid treatment to customer on a mistake the front desk made. I personally won't come to this hotel again. Advice for future guests, please make sure you ask everything UP FRONT so that they are clear on the arrangement

this hotel in soi 7/1 is great value for money,get a deluxe room on the 4th or 5th floor, great rooms, no breakfast is offered but because your so close to everything, no need to worry,if you want full English jump on the Skytrain and go 2 stops down to soi 33/1 a pub called Robin Hoods, full English with everything for 99 baht after 9 o,clock, the staff here are fantastic,there is a girl on in the day time called NAKHA i love her, what a beautiful caring girl ,will do almost anything she can for you, i hope she is there when i return here,my favorite place in Bangkok.

The price is cheap, very close to nana station, there are many restaurants and shops nearby, the room size is also very good, and sanitation is also OK, but you must go through the red light district 2 minutes away. If you have children, it is not recommended to consider. And an incident happened. We hung up the ”Do Not Disturb” sign outside the door in the morning. We went back to the room at 9 pm and found that the air conditioner was on and the toilet was locked. The first reaction was that someone might have entered the room. Hidden in the bathroom and asked friends who buried other rooms and people from the hotel to come together. All of us looked solemn, but the people at the hotel smiled and felt lighthearted (I don’t know that cultural differences are commonplace in the future), hotel staff Then I opened the door with the key and no one was in the bathroom. I asked him why there were still people in the inner channel laughing and walking away. Everyone of us called the lobby to ask the manager to ask for the manager, and then he closed the line after answering busy. About 10 minutes later, the smiling staff brought us a mobile phone. It turned out to be the person in charge in Hong Kong. The person in charge was friendly and clearly explained that someone entered because all the rooms were replaced with new TVs. We did not have any property losses and also It doesn't matter if you really see a few TVs in the lobby.

One of the hardest recommended Hotel I’ve ever given. First I have to list all the not-so-good things: 1. The room is old. You can feel it the moment you enter the room. The case for the air conditioner controller is broken (the controller is still working fine). The carpet is clean but old and out of fashion. The air conditioner’ fan runs like a jet engine. 2. The checkin/checkout lines are not optimized in work flow. It took at best 5 minutes just to checkin 2 persons, at worst 40 minutes for a group checkin. So I had one of the worst checkin time ever. I had to wait in line for 50 minutes for my turn. 3. The towels had some stains. They are clean though. But even with those negative things I still have a lot of good things to say: 1. Location, location, location. Ambassador is on the CBD of Bangkok. Which means you can go to other places very cheap and very quickly. It is close to the Nana BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. You can go to Terminal 21 for shopping and dining. Many other services are nearby. 2. The price is very affordable. Price/performance of the room is not bad at all. With the same price you can only have a smaller and worse location room of other hotels or homestay. 3. If you intend to go outside a lot during daytime then the room is not that bad. The shower and bed were really all my need and they worked just fine. 4. The Sky wing suite has a really good view of Bangkok 5. The staff are very nice and polite. I don’t have any negative moment regarding the staff. The hotel mainly targets Indian groups that join conventions or meetings. So they don’t renew the facilities frequently. But I think they are still good enough for your stay. Overall, if you can pay more, there are better options of course. But your budget is limited then you should definitely short-list this hotel.

To be honest, Citin Sukumvit on Sukumvit soi 11 is one of the best new hotels here. Sunita & Sajan at the reception are so helpful that check inn was very smooth. The rooms are new & so nicely done. It's best if you want to be around Nana BTS but not in the noise. Everything is 2 mins walk. Best clubs, best bars and street food. Cheap Shopping is a plus too. I've tried many hotels here but this one I am recommending for sure. Hot water, decent wifi & availability of everything you need. It's guest friendly as my friends joined & there was no hassle. The people working here are nice and helpful with ideas for the trip. The price is too good for this location 👌 Clean, New, Convenient, safe and trustworthy. I'd love to come stay here again soon.

As the title suggests, there's a big but to this hotel. Almost all the staff from reception through to the housekeeping girls, all them display so much attitude..!! Most of them are surly. Sure they greet in the normal Thai way but you can tell it's just a formality and they'd rather be doing something else. I found it quite sad because a new visitor to Thailand (like me) has heard that it's the ”land of smiles” but then you turn up to this hotel and are greeted by moody staff. A couple of times whilst passing reception, I heard guests telling staff not to shout at them..!! Impatience seems to run through the veins of everyone working there. I quickly learnt that the best way to deal with the staff is to not ask anything of them. Basically leave them alone and hence you won't get attitude in return. Maybe they've become jaded. Whatever the reason, it has no place in the hospitality industry. The management need to look seriously at this problem. The location and proximity to everything is why I've given this hotel 3 dots
