It was a pleasant stay and served our purposes well. Staff was polite. No AC in the elevator so brace yourself when exiting the building. 😂

The room designed to lifestyles of all travelers, or on business, and modern comfortable facilities. We checked in to the hotel and were moved to the resident portion of the property. The pool was closed, however it did not say that when we booked the room. We would have been able to use the hotel pool however we would have had to walk around the parking lot to the other building. The first room we were assigned was facing the pool under construction and it was very noisy. We requested to be moved and the next room was much nicer. The rooms are spacious and very clean with a nice kitchen and sitting area. The hotel is very close to the mall. The staff was very nice and helpful. However we booked a driver to the Floating Market through the hotel and were dropped off at a boat rental place, had to pay B2000.00 for 1 hour boat ride. (no negotiations) When we requested to be dropped off at the market itself our driver told us he is not able to do that because he is not a guide. We would have been better off booking a tour.
Grace at Five by Grace Hotel Bangkok

Advantages: The room is located deep in an alley near Zhongzhong Street. It is relatively close to Nana Station and can be walked. There is a 711 very nearby, which is convenient for purchasing goods. The lobby is very fragrant and large. Disadvantages: There are mosquitoes and bugs in the room. The sound insulation of the room is very poor. In the room close to the elevator, you can still hear the sound of the elevator arriving at around two o'clock at night, making it difficult to sleep well. The hotel doesn't seem to have a swimming pool. It can be seen that some of the facilities in the room are old. It is not like a new hotel, but more like a renovated one. It is very difficult to hail a taxi, including Bolt, Grab and other software, and the surrounding area is very congested. The alley where the hotel is located is very narrow. The alley is not very clean and there are big cockroaches 🪳 crawling on the ground.

It's ok. For the price it's good. And this review might not be valuable for long, they are undergoing renovations as they were doing demolition on the 16th - 18th floors when I was there. About 20 years ago, there was a massive investment in high-rise condominiums. A crash in the market caused a lot of these buildings to become all-suites hotels, and I'm guessing that's what happened to the Bliston Suwan. My room was very big for a very nice part of town at a very reasonable price. It had a living room and bedroom with all the appliances including a washing machine. So if that's your formula for success, this is a good choice. The problem is that it feels like it wants you to move in and decorate it. It feels - empty, I guess you could say. The bedsheets are sort of rough, something you would replace if you lived there. There wasn't much of a mattress cover and you could feel every ridge and stitch of the mattress (the couch was more comfortable to sleep on). There's not much furniture in the big space, and the TV screens are small compared to modern hotels. The common areas were particularly sp****, empty spaces like a warehouse. These are all things that might be addressed in a renovation. It felt a bit dated too. There were a lot of stains on the carpet, and the 1990's style DVD player was retro. Breakfast was something to miss, I would recommend trying some of the many options just outside the hotel (including an AMAZING coffee shop across the street). The staff was highly effective and pleasant to deal with (as is typical with Thai hospitality in my experience).
