Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Silom/Sathon Bangkok|2.69km from Speed
I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

Pratunam Market
I am not expecting super clean nor super complete rooms in Pratunam area considering this area is very crowded with stores and market activities. This hotel has provide exactly everything we need for the area. Clean bed and bathroom, sufficient towels, free flow mineral water and very reliable fast WiFi access. This could be the most suitable hotel to choose in this area. We saw there are a lot more more 'fancy and luxurious' hotel nearby, however most of them located above very busy and noisy market with knock down stall which may cause unnecessary noisy for your sleep. This area is almost open 24 hours. Cloud 9 just the right choice which located on a quiet corner. This hotel could be hard to find even if you use online map. Try to look for Benz hotel. This cloud 9 is next to it. we will definitely choose this hotel again when we had a chance to visit the area. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to our colleagues and families.

The location is great and the price is cheap. Although the interior is a little lacking, there is no separation of dry and wet, and the sound insulation is relatively poor, but the attitude of the service staff is very good and they are very enthusiastic. I will stay again next time I come to Bangkok

Pratunam Market
The hotel is located at the heart of Pratunam morning and night market. During the day, many malls to cover within walking distance. Halal food just round the corner, a number of restaurants too. Very clean for a budget hotel with daily cleaning, towels changed daily, basic toiletries are provided too. We stayed in a non-window room which suited us because time were largely spent outside. The hot water kettle is good for quick cup of coffee before leaving the hotel. And the safe box was practical too. The only minor issue was the hotel wanted cash for payment instead of credit card as stated in the booking website. So, email the hotel before you arrive so you will be more prepared. Hotel staff speak English are very friendly and helpful. Our stay was great and yes we will come back again!

After a long flight, after transit we checked-in in this hotel. The place itself is very convenient for family with kids as every thing is close by.The hotel itself looka a bit old,the shower very dirty but the room is very spacious .I was travelling with my 10months old baby, just imagine after the long flight a baby is extremely tired.I got a call from the reception saying if i cannot make my baby stop crying.I told them that this is a baby,he is very tired. They told me if i cannot make him stop they will call the police.Say What,Police, this is the first time in my entire life that I encountered sonething like that.I told them they can call the police if they want.its a baby nature to cry.The receptionist staffs are not nice at all .This kookikk 0% customer care, doesnt know how to serve people I would say this kind of people should be working ona farm instead in hospitality industry

I stay very often. Around 8 10 times a year. The hotel is convenient as per my requirements. All the staff are very helpful friendly and welcoming. Specially P Uthen, the security officer who goes the extra mile to ensure the safety and comfort of the guests. Is open to communicate with and is very helpful. If anything I would like to see an improvement in the housekeeping.
