The villa with swimming pool facilities is in disrepair, and the walls of the room we live in are moldy and deteriorated. The smell is very heavy. Open the windows for ventilation for two or three days before dispersing some friends. Wearing a mask to sleep all night is not enough and changed to a villa. The main reason is the humid rainforest climate. We stayed for a week and opened the windows for ventilation for two or three days. It was much better and there was no big problem! If you book more rooms, you don’t need to retreat. You can’t ask for too much, because there is no service! The service of the battery car brother is okay to take over and send! Nice resort with a range of outdoor swimming pools and hot spa tubs. Great position on a forested hillside. Our guestroom had a hot tub (actually a big bath; no bubbles!) on it's balcony looking out into the surrounding treetops. At least three different restaurants on site, including two indoor sit-down places and an outdoor barbeque place; also more, smaller/local Chinese restaurants in walking distance just outside the resort gates. Nice big site with no cars - there is a car park by the reception and then you can get around the resort on foot or hop onto one of the many a golf buggy driven about by staff members. Very safe for children & families - including no cars on site and play facilities. Good buffet breakfast - chinese style, but with some western foods (breakfast cereals; coffee; toast; etc). Fruit and tea laid out in reception area for guests to enjoy for free. NEGATIVES: Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3pm and we had to wait 30 minutes for it to be cleaned; very little English spoken by staff members, including in restaurants; one restaurant was full with a long wait for a table when we tried to eat there, despite it being low season (December); it's around 4km up a steep mountain road to the Qixian Shan scenic area, so the resort is not very close to the mountain despite the name!
