Hotels in Sapporo

The room smelled terrible, which really ruined the experience. What era are we in that they still require a deposit? I even had to chase them to get my refund the next day; they wouldn't have processed it otherwise.

It was just so-so. Parking was a hassle. You had to call someone to open the gate, and often no one answered the phone. It was a waste of time.

You can tell what kind of hotel it is just by looking at the pictures. It's a fairly large hotel with big, comfortable beds that are big enough for a family with two kids. The breakfast restaurant is clean and has things like eggs, noodles, and porridge, which is alright. The staff are also very friendly. Now for the downsides: whoever designed that faucet, water will always splash out whenever you wash your hands, and I have to use a towel to block it. Also, the bathroom door doesn't stop the water at all; it leaks like crazy!

The room was clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene. The facilities were complete, with smart technology throughout, which was very convenient. The service was excellent, and there was free parking. This was my favorite hotel in Baotou recently.

I've stayed here many times before, but this will definitely be my last. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was the uncleaned ashtray and toilet. The windowsill leaked; it was raining heavily outside but drizzling through the window. The motion-sensor light at the entrance kept flashing on and off late at night. When I called the front desk, they told me to remove my room key and go to sleep. There were two soft pillows in the closet, but they were covered in dried blood—it was disgusting. Most importantly, they used to require a deposit, but now they charge a 200 yuan deposit (the front desk said the hotel's losses were too high). Finally, when I checked out 20 minutes late, the front desk told me they would deduct 30 yuan from the room rate because the system automatically charged me, so they couldn't waive it. Then, when I said it was a hotel problem, they didn't deduct the 30 yuan—so what if they couldn't do it? This hotel's service and hygiene are terrible; they're really good at manipulating things. I will file complaints against Ctrip and the relevant local authorities.
