AArul KandasamyThe resort’s 1920’s French colonial architecture evokes old world charm and is breathtakingly beautiful. We liked the many mature trees and flowers dotted throughout the resort which gave it a serene and very tropical feel.
We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights in a beach view villa, which literally was on the beach. We were lulled to sleep every night with the sound of waves coming into shore. Although the rooms are a bit dated (the resort is 19 years old) the paint was brand new and all the rooms were beautifully decorated.
The swimming pool was a regular hang out spot for us as it afforded beautiful views of the ocean.
Breakfast was a sumptuous buffet spread with Vietnamese, Asian and Western options. There were also ala carte options eg egg station, fresh soup noodles and french toast, crepes and waffles. We particularly liked the freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee and assortment of delicious pastries.
For lunch and dinner, food served at Le Bar and the Pepper Tree, both Vietnamese and Western options were outstanding. We enjoyed the food so much that we hardly ate outside the resort !
Staff were professional, friendly and extremely helpful, Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging tour guides to customising food options. In particular, Sam the concierge was always cheerful and available to assist us at any time,
Last but not least, the spa is a “must do”. The treatment rooms are beautifully decorated and tucked away in a quite and calm setting. The therapists very talented at easing away all the stress and worries you may have.

GGuest UserThis villa is model and new. The rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The fire show every evening is great. There is buggy service to the beach club, takes just 5 min ride. It’s perfect for an evening drink and dinner with the sunset and relaxing vibe. Overall we love this hotel and will definitely come back again!
The in villa BBQ quality is not very good though. We would prefer eat out or enjoy dinner at the restaurant more.

Service & Staff
From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were warmly welcomed by Lac, who went above and beyond to assist us. He helped with our hotel transport, showed us to our room, and explained how everything worked. His energy and cheerful personality were unforgettable—just a heads-up, you’ll need to walk fast to keep up with him! 😄
A big thank you also to Kim and the rest of the staff, who were all incredibly friendly and attentive. You all made our wedding anniversary stay so special and memorable.
The Room
Our room was massive with a breathtaking view. The design and decor were elegant and thoughtfully done. But the real highlight? The toilet! It was a high-tech, heated toilet with all the bells and whistles—automatic bidet, drying functions, and more. Just like the ones in Japan. It was such a fun and luxurious touch!
Location
The resort is in a perfect location—just a short walk to the Marina, night market, and several massage places. Right next door is the Sailing Boat Club, which adds a nice vibe to the area. Everything is within walking distance, making it super convenient to explore.
Beach & Pool
There’s a beautiful little beach right on the property, perfect for watching the sunset. It has comfy deck chairs and a cute swing for those Instagram-worthy photos. There’s even a small archery area for a bit of fun!
The swimming pool is huge and stunning, with plenty of deck chairs, so you never have to fight for one. The pool bar is a great bonus—you can order food and drinks while enjoying a swim. Pure relaxation!
Breakfast
Hands down, the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a resort. The variety was incredible—from a wide selection of tropical fruits like mangoes, guava, rambutan, and papaya to an impressive spread of pastries and hot dishes. Fresh juices were available, too, and everything was delicious. The staff at breakfast were just as helpful and kind as everywhere else in the resort.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

GGuest UserIf you're a light sleeper, this hotel is definitely not for you. The soundproofing is very poor, and we had neighbors on both sides talking through the night. It was loud enough to keep us awake or wake us up.
I don't think I can stay at this hotel again.
The beach and pool are great and the inclusive shuttle service and buggy is really a plus point though.
Daily Breakfast is also quite nice. I really liked the bread and croissants as well as the pho.

AAnonymous UserOverall, we were quite satisfied with our stay at Vinpearl Wonderworld. The service was great, the sea view was beautiful, and the airport transfer was very convenient. The location is excellent — it’s super close to VinWonders, which made our trip even easier. The only downside was that the private pool wasn’t very clean. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we had a pleasant experience!

GGuest User1. **Location**: Located in the central part of Phu Quoc Island, it's approximately 10 kilometers from the airport. We arranged a 7-seater airport transfer through the hotel for 300,000 VND, which is about 80+ RMB. It's also about 20-30 kilometers away from Duong Dong town, the northern amusement parks, and the southern Sunset Town.
2. **Hotel Facilities**: Overall, it meets the standards of an entry-level five-star hotel. The rooms are clean, and all facilities and amenities are well-appointed. The swimming pool is also very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The king-size rooms feature a 2-meter king bed and a sofa.
3. **Beach**: We visited at the end of August, during the rainy season, and were affected by a typhoon. It rained every day, with a mix of sunny and rainy spells. The waves in the sea were quite strong, making it unsuitable for swimming. The sand on Long Beach is yellowish, similar to Yalong Bay in Sanya, but it's still quite fine and considered clean.
4. **Hotel Surroundings**: Right opposite the hotel entrance is the Sonasea Night Market, offering numerous dining and shopping options. We highly recommend Sen Vietnam Restaurant, a Vietnamese eatery where both the pho and spring rolls are delicious. A meal for six people cost about 1,000,000 VND, which is approximately 300 RMB. There's also a Korean seafood restaurant called Mr. Seafood, which offers great taste and excellent value for money. For 3,720,000 VND (equivalent to 1,100 RMB), we had: two lobsters (total 1KG, one with garlic butter sauce, one cheese-baked), 1KG large tiger prawns (half stir-fried with garlic butter, half grilled with garlic butter), 1KG crab with Singapore sauce, 1KG stir-fried squid, and 1KG cheese-baked scallops. They also included two portions of fried rice, two vegetable dishes, two boxes of fruit, and two 1-liter cans of beer. This price was only half of what we'd pay in the south, so much so that after we moved to the southern part of the island, we took a taxi back just to eat there again!
5. **Transportation**: You can use Grab for taxis, or hail a taxi directly at the hotel entrance, where prices are clearly displayed. We hired a 7-seater car for most of the day for 900,000 VND, which is about 250 RMB. A one-way trip to the south cost around 200,000 VND.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Wyndham Grand Villa during our family trip, and it honestly turned out even better than what we expected. The villa itself was perfect for us — large bedrooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a spacious living area where the kids could relax after a long day out. It felt like having our own private home inside a resort.
Service throughout our stay was consistently warm. The staff here are genuinely polite, always smiling, and never made us feel rushed even when it got busy. Whenever we needed something — extra towels, directions, or transport — they helped immediately. It made the stay feel easy and stress-free.
The location is also fantastic. We were just minutes away from Grand World and all the attractions, yet the villa area remained quiet and peaceful. After sightseeing, coming back to the villa really felt like a retreat. The shuttle service around the property and Grand World was also incredibly convenient for the kids.
Breakfast was enjoyable with enough variety, and we never had trouble finding something for everyone, including the kids. Facilities like the pool and gardens were well maintained, and we always felt the property was kept clean and safe.
Overall, we had a really good experience staying here as a family. The villa gave us space, comfort, privacy, and the convenience of resort facilities — the best of both worlds. We left with great memories, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

Good things:
+ Location - right on the beach, in a nice a clean part of the island
+ Facility - great spacious area of the hotel itself with gardens, several pools, beach with sunbeds, gym and spa (expensive)
+ Breakfast - great variety of food for all tastes and always fresh
Cons:
- Awful customer service - it’s always a “no” whatever you ask - for example changing the room (we booked two but for same family and wanted the rooms closer to each other but the best they could do is put them on same floor)
- After check out there is nowhere to be - no lounge, no indoor restaurant open (opens at 17:00), no conference room - basically you are left to sit at reception or go to beach in your flight out clothes
- Shuttle times to airport very random with some of them having huge gaps like 2 hours in between, it was easier to just take a taxi
- Transparent wall to the bathroom in a Twin bed room that was specifically mentioned that the second person is a teenager (had to insist and spent more than 24h to place a tape on the glass for some privacy - as changing the room was not possible for the hotel)
- Staff in general is very slow and has very poor english level in most cases
- Sunbeds are old, not comfortable and Sun umbrellas are very few

CCatherine CheongHotel is very near the airport which is a plus. Free airport transfers both ways. Front desk / restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly. Complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch.
Pool is huge and staff are friendly. Nice cabanas and deck seats.
Gym needs improvement - no fan / ac, towels didn't seem clean and dumbells were a little rusty. Gets very stuffy in there too.
Room was a good size with great views of the ocean. Aircon in the room was a little warm during the day. More hooks can be provided in the washroom to hang towels or clothes. Our room didn't have a rack to hang our wet swim gears.
