An excellent place for a short stay. Clean, modern and chic impressing two discerning teenagers. Stayed in a top floor ensuite family room (with efficient air conditioning), facing the road with a small balcony. Good double glazing meant no traffic noise. We were there 2 nights and the room was tidied and serviced during our stay - a bonus which we didn't expect. All staff especially at reception were polite and very helpful. Good variety at continental breakfast buffet available from 8 to 11, suitable for early birds and late risers. Were able to leave luggage secuely free of charge when we checked out of room but had an evening flight. Only very minor quibble was the automatic light in the toilet that came on when you used it in the middle of the night, which woke others. Never worked out if you could disable it. Would definitely stay there again and am already recommending it to others.

The pillows were too low, the quilt was a thin sheet, told the front desk but they did not provide us with more pillows and quilts. Only two more thin orders were given. There is no luggage storage, only small boxes that are self-locking. Two euros at a time. But my 24-inch suitcase couldn't fit in. You can only go to the case or backpack. Next to the subway station. My wallet was stolen when I was ”lucky” when I came out of this station on the first day. The thief pretended to help our two girls carry suitcases. The front desk staff was completely unaware of the correct police station that opened at night and told us the wrong address. Not recommended

I stayed at Sant Jordi for 6 nights in the beginning of July. It was my first time staying at a hostel and I had a great experience. The hostel was very well run and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the Argentinian girl who checked me in and the night time guy from Morocco. They will help if you have questions about day trips or activities in the city or surrounding countryside. The hostel is also in a very good location, where you can easily walk to the Gothic Quarter in 20 minutes. Getting to the beach or some other locations may require the metro. The hostel is definitely geared towards a younger crowd. They have happy hours and bar crawls every night. If you are looking to party and experience the nightlife in Barcelona, this is definitely a hostel you should stay at. The hostel has air conditioning, which is a must during the summer, but you might have to ask the front desk to turn it up.

Having just moved to Barcelona we were looking for somewhere cheap to stay to keep our costs low. We found this hostel on Hostelworld but booked through the hostel website as it was cheaper and breakfast was included! Breakfast was the perfect continental spread (croissants, bread, cereal, cheese, eggs etc). We stayed in a 12 bed female dorm with an en suit which suited our needs perfectly. The cage system under the beds is a great way of keeping the room tidy - bring a lock for the cage! And speaking of locks, the hostel is very central and as a result has lots of safety measures in place. With our room card we can only access the ground floor, the self catering kitchen and our own floor. the safety measures in place are brilliant. The food in the bar is delicious and guests at the hostel get a discount so it's great value too! We played a few rounds of pool with the staff (special shout out to Liam and Kelly), we had a great time. The bar has many screens for showing all kinds of sports which draws in a good crowd any night of the week. The staff overall are extremely friendly and helpful at any time of the day or night. The housekeeping staff are at the top of their game, the place is spotless and extremely well kept. We highly highly recommend this hostel when visiting Barcelona.

The staff at this hostel were great - really friendly and welcoming. The rooms was locked and had lockers too so felt safe however it wasn’t the most social as it seemed to have a few families and not as many young people. Some of it felt a bit unclean but generally good value for a cheap price!

This was one of the best choices i did during all my trips to the city. The staff are extremely attentive and well manered, and the housekeeping staff are doing a great job as well, it might be something to keep everything the tidiest while al the guests are walking, going and coming around, impressive! Non sono proprio fan degli ostelli ma mi sono dovuta ricredere, struttura ben tenuta e organizzata gestita da ragazzi fantastici che trasmettevano un gran senso di comunità! In tal senso, vengono organizzate ogni sera cene a tema, con la partecipazione di tutti gli ospiti, e per chi gradisce la serata può proseguire fuori nei vari locali della movida. The location is great, next to metro station and quiet. The hostel is clean and nice. Our room was comfy and enough for 3 persons. I would have appreciate a bigger kitchen for more people to cook at the same time, and more fridges. Forgot her name, but the Colombian girl who works there was very sympathetic and helpful.

During my 3 month stay in Spain I traveled a lot and stayed at many hostels. But this one was a totally different story. This hostel is community-oriented with many activities for youth; offers free cereal breakfast, coffe and tea. Amazing receptionist Alu was super nice and kindly helped me with everything I needed. I am super thankful for this experience and will definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel is located in the centre of Barcelona , and the Ramblas is 10 minutes ' walk from the hotel . Personnel très agréable , carte individuelle pour chaque personne de la chambre permettant d'accéder aux étages par l'ascenseur et pour ouvrir porte de chaque pallier ainsi que porte de la chambre et d'un grand tiroir sous le lit. In terms of comfort it is very light , there is the strict minimum. However, bathroom and shower really too narrow , automatic light that starts when you go to the toilet . For 2 nights it went but I don't advise the hostel
