Fantastic location right in the heart of town! You have to pick Condes if you are serious shopping at Hermes Chanel and LouisVuitton because it’s right smack in the middle of these 3. Dior and Loewe are also just a few more steps away. Best choice without having to lug all the shopping back. Room is huge and luxurious, opt for the Balcony for a top view of the city. And the TaxFree claims refund office is just across the road!

Great music, great vibes , and great Mo!!! He provided us with the best time ever. Loved this place and the the people were so welcoming ♥️ A great night and would definitely recommend the club on the rooftop!!

Lovely stay, had a Rambla double on the 3rd floor which came with a little balcony overlooking the main street outside. Couldn't hear a thing when the door was shut however. Really well located for the main attractions, supermarket next door for anything you need, bars/coffee shops on the doorstop. Once you are in the hotel it is like entering a calm oasis. Great breakfast included in our stay and a couple of complimentary drinks for being h10 club members. Staff were attentive & friendly. Only slight drag was one morning the water in the shower was lukewarm but it was back up and running by the evening.

Good value for money The room was bigger than I expected, very clean, the maid came in every day and I had no complaints! I read some comments that there is noise from the road. Do not worry about this, just ask for a quiet room and they will put you in the back of the hotel, where there is no noise. I was at 803 and it was very quiet! I did not have breakfast because it was so expensive! The hotel is very central, next to the most central Metro station. Right next door there is an amazing steakhouse that you should definitely eat there. The only negative is that the room could have a kettle and two glasses.

Advantages: Good location, convenient to walk and ride by car. The hotel is very high value and relatively new. There is a very simple coffee break and the reception service is good. Disadvantages: There is decoration taste, the wardrobe is very obvious, the tap water message is very heavy, stayed for four days, it is very uncomfortable to use. There was only one pack of paper towels in four days, and there was no supplement. It’s a bit strange to re-authorize through Ctrip.

Stayed here for two nights. I was greeted by the lovely check in staff. I believe there were three each greeted before I was checked-in by one of them I believe her name was ”Alma”. She made sure I knew everything the hotel has on offer like the pool and bar/restaurants. I was offered an upgrade as part of my membership and breakfast. The breakfast was very nice and it was of decent size. I wasn't offered a cooked meal so I am unsure if this is on offer. The room was big and had all the expected amenities. The shower was nice and the shower gel that I used was very nice from a store called rituals. The hotel itself is in a central location nearby many of the places you would want to go to in the city. I just want to say that all the staff made me feel welcome and made my stay brillant. I'm terrible with names but the housekeeping team, security team and the front desk team were all brillant. Thank you for making my first stay in Barcelona memorable.

We had a bad start as we were moved to this hotel from catalonia magdalenes. Then we were given a disabled room not once but twice . 3rd room lovely . reception staff very polite and helpful . Breakfast lovely nice modern hotel quiet close to most things . Only issue we had we were unable to get an evening drink at roof top bar on all of our three nights stay . We tried mid afternoon and early evening. We are still waiting for our gin and tonic . Saturday night staff went missing when we ordered. We stood waiting and finally gave up. Nice hotel but if you want roof top pool and bar seek elsewhere

When first booking our trip to Barcelona, it was a little overwhelming the amount of properties one could choose from. After a bit of review and consideration we decided on the Hotel Olivia Balmes. We were most interested in finding a hotel that was centrally located, emphasized comfort and cleanliness, & had in room central air conditioning (given our late summer travel). The hotel hit top marks in all. We also used the pool and ate breakfast which were both excellent. I would not hesitate to book a stay here. The front desk staff were also very kind and available 24 hours a day.

Had a weekend in Barcelona and stayed at the Mirror hotel. Firstly, the good bits: - cool neighbourhood. Next to loads of nice bars and restaurants with a really cool vibe, and almost bang in the middle of La Ramblas and Sagrada Familia, so make sure you've got comfy shoes and you can manage without use of the Metro if you wanted. You can find a down to earth bar and get a beer for a few euros, or theres some higher class places (the Dry Martini next door, being an example) if you fancy something slightly classier. - Lovely staff - couldn't do enough to help us, booked us a taxi when we needed it, and gave us a call on the hotel phone once we'd checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. - SUPER comfy bed. Honestly, I slept so well. And the air con was really efficient without being too noisy also, which is a bonus. - good pressure shower with lots of options. However, the room itself is where it lost points for me. It was very much style over substance - it had fancy furnishings, but on closer investigation, it was a bit tatty. The loo roll holder was falling off the wall, the sanitary bag dispenser underneath had already fallen off and was on the floor when we arrived. The leather on the bed frame was cracking and tatty, and I don't know who's idea it was to paint the whole place white, but it really showed all the scuffs and dirt on the walls and the quilting. On top of that, there was a balcony but you couldn't open the doors to enjoy it, which was a shame because i'm asthmatic, and our room stank of cigarettes. Someone had clearly been smoking in there and the smell was stuck in the curtains. There was also dustballs on the floor and attention to detail when cleaning clearly lacked significantly. Nothing was especially well labelled, and with the walls being mirrored, some were panels and others were cupboards - which made finding anything tricky! In addition - after booking I noticed from the reviews that the loo is basically at the end of the bed, behind a frosted glass door. Which was fine. However what it didn't mention is that theres actually a small gap between the door and the wall, so at the right angle, the person you're sharing your room with can actually see you on the toilet whilst they sit on the bed! Not exactly the height of romance. If and when we return to Barcelona, I don't think i'd stay again. For the price we paid for our stay, i'd expected a little more, but it was certainly all talk and no trousers.

Hotel location is good, about 20 minutes walk to the main attractions. 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway station. There are a lot of restaurants that taste good nearby. The facilities are quite complete, the breakfast is very good, the variety is delicious and delicious. The last morning morning, the morning flight also gave us a breakfast to take away. The front desk service is good, very welcoming and willing to help.
