The hotel has a convenient location, close to the metro station, but it is very noisy at night with huge sound from the roadside, and you can constantly hear people open and close the door.

Very thin walls, I heard everything people were talking about in the next room. Strange rule about leaving your room keys at the reception when you go out for a walk. Great location close to the train station.

Room was clean, tidy and spacious. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The hotel is also located close to Barcelona Sants train station (1 metro stop away) and it's easy to get to the city's main attractions from there (especially what I felt to be the very underrated Parc Ciutadella). Only caveat I think I would mention is that given the hotel's proximity to the subway, you'll hear a lot of gentle rumbling from the trains passing underneath. This didn't bother me much but may bother other more sensitive guests. Still, as a budget hotel Hostal Sans really stands out!

Since it was my first time in Barcelona, ​​I mainly considered the convenience of travel when choosing a hotel. Sure enough, this hotel is not far from Barcelona Railway Station and Bus Station. The bus station is right next to the railway station, although it is not very eye-catching. It only takes seven or eight minutes to walk to the hotel. There are several elderly people at the front desk, but their attitude is kind. There is a small balcony with a view of the street view outside.

Well located hotel, near metros 1 and 5. But a little far from the sea. Neighborhood near Sants Station, nice, lively, lots of shops. Renovated rooms. But there are little things missing. And those that are not on the street side face a wall full of pigeons! Not great! The welcome is good and you can leave your suitcase in storage for free. There is a cafeteria (tables, chairs, microwave, vending machines, no fridge), and a supermarket 5 minutes away.

Two women stayed here for a three-day, two-night trip. The front desk was always staffed, and all the staff were very friendly. The room key was a physical key, not a card key, and you had to leave it at the front desk when you left the hotel. The room was spacious and well-equipped for the price, but it was clean and we had no particular discomfort during our stay. Amenities such as a hair dryer, WiFi, and towels were minimal, so it's better to bring your own shampoo, toothbrush, and tissues. There was also no refrigerator, so it's better not to buy anything that needs to be refrigerated. Since it was a corner room, I didn't know how thin the walls were, but we didn't hear any voices in the hallway. The location is a little far from the center, but there is a subway just a one-minute walk from the hotel. If you don't mind transferring, you can get to the main tourist spots in about 10 minutes, which is quite convenient. There was also a supermarket near the hotel, so it was easy to buy drinks and snacks. Overall, it was a very good value hotel! Taking into account the cleanliness of the room and the location, it is probably a higher-priced hotel in its price range. Although the amenities are limited, there are daily necessities available at the nearby supermarket, so you can easily buy anything you need. I think this is the perfect place for a short trip with only carry-on luggage.

The room was small and pretty, with a wardrobe and a small balcony. But the hotel only provided towels and soap, the wifi was poor, it felt like the room was completely sealed when you closed the door and the wifi couldn't get in. The cleaning staff only came in to change our towels once, even though we stayed for 3 days and 3 nights, and didn't even clean the trash bag in the bathroom for us.
