Because it was a Spanish holiday, it was difficult to book a hotel. I was initially worried about my previous terrible experience with a guesthouse, but when I arrived downstairs, a cleaning lady warmly greeted me and led me to the second floor. I would have been amazed by the beautiful, retro-style staircase if I had gone in alone. The landlady at the front desk was very friendly; no wonder there were no bad reviews! The complimentary tea room was large, with a balcony and books. The tea, coffee, pastries, and chocolates were excellent—they really put a lot of thought into it. There were also some handmade jewelry for sale. My room, number seven, was also very spacious. The interior had a simple, natural beauty. The shower and bed were very comfortable. Everything felt warm and complete, like home. I will definitely book again next time to experience the warmth and vibrant art atmosphere of Barcelona.

Had a very comfortable stay. Convenient and safe location, walkable to many sights and restaurants, but still away from the crowds. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel consists of about 15 rooms on the first floor of an apartment building. Very nice lounge and patio facing the inner courtyard. Didn’t try the breakfast.

Interesting property,this small hotel/bed and breakfast is situated on the second floor of an older building, the elevator is pretty old and sketchy looking at first, but it did work well and is kinda cool. Rooms are small, nothing really special, I at least had a nice large window that opens up to the street

The room we were given faces the elevator shaft. even though there were two windows (one in the bathroom) they were blacked out which made us feel like we were staying in a window less room. The person serving breakfast inflexible with offering some of the food before the official time. We had an early flight and needed to leave early. Flexibility with the free breakfast would have been helpful.

Staff were amazing. Allowed for early check in and were helpful with any questions we had. Very quiet and peaceful which allowed us to get the rest we needed midday to recover from the jet lag. Walkable to most attractions. Short train/car ride from others.

The staff were very kind, and the public space with free coffee was excellent. The room I stayed smelled terriblly. It may be caused by sewer pipes close to my room, so I opened the door but couldn't solve the problem. As the public space didn't smell, I think other rooms don't smell so badly. Anyway, the location and the staff were nice. If there weren't such smell, I surely recommend this hostel.
