The room was tiny and only had a small window facing an inner courtyard, with opaque glass that let in no light, making it extremely dark.

This local hotel refuse to refund even though we have Force Majeure situation with our flight. Next time will only booking International hotel chain when travel oversea.

Conveniently located: close to the train station and metro. 10 minutes to the sights. Easy to find – exit the metro and turn left toward McDonald's. Walk 100 meters and turn right. There's a small sign with the hotel name on the door and a call button to open the door. Take the historic elevator to the 2nd floor. We were checked in early because the room was cleaned. A small room with a single bed. No strange odors. The window looks out onto other windows. The heating is via a split-system unit, although there was a radiator in the room. There was a strange hissing sound in the room that kept me awake. I have no desire to return to this hotel. I was there during the New Year holidays, so I chose it based on price, but even that was too high for this hotel. Barcelona is safe as long as you don't relax, carry your bag over your shoulder, and preferably under a jacket (like the locals).

Everything was great, except for the fact that they were touching, storing, and moving personal belongings. The staff was helpful, answered all questions, and helped with any situational issues (they provided needle and thread and a kettle).

It's in a good location, but you need to be mindful of where you want to shoot; the distances from the main attractions are quite large on the map. The room is small, and there's some street noise. Breakfast at the hotel next door was good.

You could hear everything! The walls are like paper! Literally.

A bit tricky to find…ring the bell and then go up to the 2nd floor! Otherwise, great location: next to the bus stop and not far from the metro and the beach. Great welcome.
