Grand Hotel Central, Small Luxury Hotels

I recently stayed here from May 29 to June 1 and had a deeply disappointing experience. First and foremost, there was ceaseless, disruptive noise inside our room due to construction work taking place right outside. When we brought this to the front desk's attention, the receptionist's response was completely unacceptable. We were dismissively told, "That’s just how it is in Barcelona." This kind of excuse is entirely unreasonable and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the hotel's amenities and services were subpar: Poor Breakfast: The breakfast selection was extremely poor and lacked variety. Definitively not worth it. Pool Restrictions: We were shocked to find out that guests are restricted to only two hours on the pool sunbeds! Limiting relaxation time like this is ridiculous. No Pool Service: Furthermore, absolutely nothing is served at the pool bar until 13:00, leaving you without any service during the morning hours. We expected a high standard of hospitality, but instead, our stay was severely disrupted. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a relaxing vacation.

Gorgeous hotel, and the pool was so nice x

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. It was tiring to carry my luggage all the way to the bus station 🫠
