This experience has been one of the best we’ve had in Barcelona. The hotel room felt spacious and all staff members were exceptionally helpful. We are particularly impressed by Front Desk employee Luis and Gema. They were extremely supportive. They greatly aided us with transport and gave us local tips (such as good restaurants, how to take public transport etc.) Gema even personally helped us to arrange our luggage delivery to another hotel in a timely and efficient way. The luggage was closely monitored the whole process until it arrived in our hand. I would highly recommended this real 5 Star Hotel to everyone.

3 possible 4 if the owner would spend some money to restore to former glory. Most public areas are well maintained but the pool area is in serious need of upgrade as well as maintenance it simply does not justify the star rating as well as the price. Rooms are in serious need of a visit by the management as they are worn down. On a positive note the view is great and location is most likely the best in Barcelona. Quality of food is excellent but on a service level it unfortunately lacks at tentativeness. There are some outstanding staff but unfortunately they are seldom on duty

Booked 1 night due to it’s proximity to our cruise ship, as it is literally about 50m to the South Terminal N quay. Detractors saying it was not 5 star anymore are rather over critical in my view. We stayed Sept. 25, and all I can say is that check in was easy, our request for a high floor was met. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and well appointed, with sofa and 2 comfortable chairs. All rooms appear to have a balcony. We arrived late so had no dinner, but the breakfast and service on the terrace was excellent. The array of buffet choice was as good as it gets. The roof terrace is sensational with views of the port, Barcelona over to the Gaudi's Sagradia Familia. It is true that this has dated a little, but it's still a very good hotel, and we would gladly stay here again without a cruise on our itinerary. It is just 10 mins walk to La Ramblas. A minor point, but in the bathroom the tiling on corners doesn't have the usual edging strip; it actually has recessed polished tile edges (see pic), which I have never seen before, so whoever set the spec and budget for it's build was not thrifty. Marble abounds. Staff readily gave smiles, and were helpful, so I take it as I find it One final point regarding room choice 1 night ok for internal atrium view room, any longer ask for an outside room. All views from the roof terrace.

My wife and I went for a very short trip to Barcelona and chose this hotel at random . What a great choice and a good bit of luck! Firstly it's location was perfect for us - right on Las Ramblas. Very central. We took the Aerobus from the airport which stopped at Plaça de Catalunya a short distance away from Las Ramblas and obviously our hotel We were welcomed by friendly staff and given a welcome drink. Our room was comfortable and clean and had free drinks in the mini bar; free coffee nespresso machine, a big bed and lots of pillows! There was a very good breakfast choice and you were made to feel like royalty by Max the breakfast waiter - who was always cheerful. The desk staff were very helpful with tips about local food, travelling , booking tickets... Fully a five star service. We will definitely go again to Barcelona and hopefully be able to stay again at this lovely diamond of a hotel.

We arrived just after check-in time to find only two working at their reception desk. Each with guests and one ahead of us in line. We waited patiently for around 10 minutes as they slowly managed to complete the check in of one. In that time the line had grown with 8 more guests waiting behind me to check in as well. I was next to check in, or thought I was, but an additional check in person stepped up to another station to help. But instead of asking for the next one he just helped an impatient guest waiting off to the side instead, making me wait almost 20 minutes just to check in. And beyond just changing you for the room they take a deposit, which I never had happen to me before. I have had hotels put credit cards on file but not actual deposits on top of the room charge. After we got to the room, had a lovely view but the windows were very dirty and couldn’t even take good pictures from it. Then after getting back from going out and about we found the phone and tv were dead. So no room service available or entertainment in our room . I went down to the front desk and asked about it and they said the whole building was out and there was nothing they could do. After we went to bed we were awoken by a maintenance man at 12:30 at night asking to fix our tv. I told him we were sleeping. I was so upset they would even think to send someone at that time of night, when I didn’t even ask them to come, I could hardly sleep after that. I went to the front desk the next morning to ask them about resending the maintenance man back to the room while we were out but they explained the whole building phone and tv was still out. I then asked why they would send someone to fix our tv in the middle of the night. They had no explanation. As of our last night here still no tv, phone, or room service. They have no estimate on when it might come back. For what I thought was a higher end hotel their customer service is lacking and maintenance of their building sub-standard.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great location. I rarely complain about anything, however, the young lady who checked us in said, ”oh, and your breakfast is included!” This is not something I expected because normally I don't elect this unless it's automatic because I prefer the flexibility to have breakfast somewhere else. And usually larger hotel breakfasts are expensive. There were four of us in our party, and since it was ”included”” we went down every morning to take advantage of breakfast. When we checked out however we learned it was NOT included and we were charged $20 for each person per day. We explained the mistake to the front desk person, but he said he could not help us. Unfortunate. We won't return to this property.

Calling it a swimming pool is a lie, feel ripped off. When you select a hotel with a swimming pool, the prices went up by £300-400 for our stay, so a hefty increase, but they didn't have one. It was 1 foot deep, that's not a pool, if you can't swim in it then it's a glorified puddle. Breakfast was vile, only edible part was the croissants, which seems pricey for £9 per day. Bed was relatively cosy, but on wheels and made so much noise any time either of us moved in the slightest. There was a buzzing sound that went off from the fan every 5 seconds, not too bad during the day, but when you're trying to sleep then it was a nightmare. The staff were friendly at reception, the bright spark that kept us from going elsewhere as we were really tempted. Wouldn't book again.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel: I stayed here 17 years ago in my first visit to Barcelona although I could not remember much of my experience then. I decided to stay at the Hotel Royal Ramblas in my second visit to Barcelona for 5 nights in September 2022 because of its good location. I must say its location on La Rambla is excellent and exceptional. It is close to many popular tourist attractions, it's just a few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya metro station, and bus stops at Plaza Catalunya for the hop on hop off buses. Port Veil and the beach are within walking distance. The room we got on the Planta Royal (just one floor above the breakfast restaurant) was comfortable and clean. Although the room is facing La rambla it is extremely quiet during the night. The wifi was fast, the shower was great and the aircon was so quiet and effective. The breakfast was excelent throughout our stay and the staff at the reception were very helpful and freindly. I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Barcelona. One complaint I would like to make is that for a four star hotel, there isn't any tissue paper in the room. I have to buy one box of tissue papers from Carrefour nearby. But in my opinion Hotel Royal Ramblas is an excellent hotel and I would stay there agin in my next visit.

Where do I start we simply loved everything about our stay at the edition. We stayed here April 18th - 21st and the staff specifically the concierge, night bell man on the 18th and front desk were beyond helpful and accommodating. I unfortunately lost the card with their names but those three guys helped my mom and I tremendously - from recommendations, transportations and other tidbits which made our stay very special. Lou Lou on the rooftop was exceptional and actually would remember our morning order which added that extra touch of personalization and guest service. Lisa I believe was her name at the rooftop bar (evening) was also fabulous. The Edition hotel is one of my favorite luxury boutique hotels and the Barcelona one didn’t disappoint - the rooms were gorgeous, clean and well appointed. The rooftop had breath taking views and the bar on the 1st floor was great for a nightcap. On top of the service, great rooms the hotel was in an exceptional location which made exploring super easy! We spent three days here and then moved to the W and it was nowhere near the level of luxury service - quite frankly we regretted having not stayed at the Edition for our entire stay!

My husband and I got the grand suite and it was absolutely amazing! I love the back lighting of the bed, which can be turned off. Also, this bed is heaven, so comfortable, which having a temperpedic at home, this definitely compares. I love the jets in the hot tub, shooting out from the bottom plus the shower combo. It was lovely the hotel provides shampoo, gel soap, and even bath bombs. His and her sinks were a lovely touch along with a couch sectional. Mirrors are all around the room, the one in front of the bed is adjustable. I booked this room for 2 weeks, still staying here, but I have been enjoying my stay so much, I figured I would write a review. I enjoy enjoy this being an adult hotel. Do you hear adult activities? Yes, but I play music at night and since the mattress is so comfortable, I have been getting so great sleep. The customer service is top notch. The woman working helped us book massages and any other needs we had. On New Year's Eve, she gave us a bottle of cava and grapes, which was available for all guest. Cleaning service is exceptional. This is perhaps the best cleaning service I have ever gotten in all my travels. This is my first time traveling since the pandemic and overall, I felt more than safe and comfortable. I enjoy this place so much, I would actually stay here again if and when I travel back to Barcelona. Tons of restaurants in the area, plus bus and metro in walking distance. You can actually walk to the Gothic Quarter too, about 30 minutes or so. I also love the fountains and castle are so close too. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay at, which made a much needed vacation that much better!

The hotel is a very unprofessional site and they are a cheaper. I leave my case to you to know what kind of accommodation is this. On January 22, we made a booking on July 17th. When we make the reservation the price of the family room for 6 people was 436.32. Yesterday, we were sent an email saying the card was invalid, we sent it again with the correct data and then we were sent a message saying they were not available for that date. I have been looking for this morning if this is true and it is, that is not, they have available and have increased the price more than twice. I think they cancelled the reservation to be able to raise the price and I think it is very unethical, they don't give us any solution. I think they have raised the price to the enter**** that the K pop BTS group goes to Spain for the date we made the reservation and have decided to cancel our reservation to increase the price to more than double. The price to which they say not have available today on February 01 is €1144.If anyone doesn't believe I have catches that prove it.

I loved this hotel in Barcelona for my brief 5-day stay. The room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed including a nice view of Mont Juic. We booked via Booking and, because of a problem with my bank, the credit card did not work. As I was Easter, I could not solve it. We call the hotel and ask if it was possible to maintain the reservation despite Booking itself to cancel it. They gently answer that it was possible and not worry: Booking would have cancelled our reservation but they would have booked us a room. The problem emerged when two days after our conversation, we arrived in Barcelona in the afternoon. A receptionist answers that the room was cancelled by Booking, and when we tried to explain (in good Spanish) to him that we know it, but they themselves had confirmed on Sunday of Easter that we had a room, In a dishonorable and unhappy way, he tells us that it is not true and it's our fault. To finish in beauty, he attacks us on the face. So we're with a kid looking for a hotel at the last minute in Barcelona. The same problem had happened two days ago in Montpellier, the hotelmen obviously say, in total good faith, I imagine, they can book the same L room, but then they cannot. But they should make sure you are not sure to come to a holiday city with a baby and not find the hotel booked is not really nice, and it is part of their professionalism. And if they do not, they should at least excuse and help you find a solution equivalent. The love of the reception in Barcelona was unprofessional, unhappy and unhappy (he also and de tue that was not true what we said).

The hostel has a great location, near the metro, bus, coffee markets and restaurants, very close to the center. I stayed in one with two single beds and shared bathroom (with good care and always available). 24-hour service and everyone very nice.The cost is very interesting.I had no breakfast, but at the reception there is coffee, tea, milk and water available.
