Fabulous stay at this Premier Inn. Staff are fabulous and the room large and very comfortable.

Lovely lady Carlie on the desk so friendly and welcoming right next door to the venue we were visiting and lots of places locally to eat highly recommend

This was a returning visit we use this premier inn at least 3 times a year sometimes more. It's a good place to stop for us close to family and friends when visiting. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them . Even accommodating us with rooms next door to each other . Also this premier inn has its own breakfast room and a hungry horse pub next door ( The Quays) where the staff offer a great warm welcome also . There are also plenty of shops and places to eat near by . We always sleep well as its quiet ,rooms clean and tidy and comfy beds . Would recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to stay in Badildon.

My previous experiences of Premier Inns have always been really good and positive. However, this hotel was different. The bedrooms was small and the bathroom even smaller without a bath, only a shower. Although clean and staff friendly, there was a lack of staff at breakfast meaning that there were no beans, eggs and only one hash brown when I arrived and had eaten my other food before beans and eventually eggs were put out for serving. I didn't see any more hash browns. Staff were rushed off their feet for the amount of people although the restaurant was only half full. My only recommendation with this particular Premier Inn, is that you avoid it. The company itself is great though and every other Premier Inn I've ever stayed in has been great.

My husband booked us a hotel and a meal for 1 night, originally booked travelodge as it was nearer the restaurant, when i arrived at the travelodge we found out the lift was not working, we were on 3rd floor, I'm disabled so needed the lift, they couldn't do anything to help, I was very upset as I couldn't stay and had to cancel the meal, my husband decided to try this premier inn in Basildon, well honestly they deserve more than 5* the lady on reception-Hannah- was so lovely and when she heard what happened we got a room on ground floor and she threw in breakfast for us both free of charge, next morning on going to breakfast we met the amazing Courtney and the wonderful lady doing the cooking, I honestly can't find the words to say how amazing they were, wonderful, caring, friendly, a big massive shout out to the truly wonderful staff at the Basildon festival premier inn, thankyou for making my stay a truly special one.

Horrendous customer service Passing back and forth no one taking responsibility awful noisy room with a faulty dangerous extractor fan! Keeping us awake having to check out at 12.50 am due to been keeping awake then a 4 and a half our drive Do Better...

Stayed several times here for multi-night business stays. Staff are really nice and have sorted out small problems when they've arisen. Rooms are quiet, comfortable, and clean though admittedly the place could do with a refit which I'm told is coming this summer. Parking is free. Breakfast, served in the hotel itself (rather than at the pub next door which is the case with many Premier Inns) is good.

The overall experience of this particular Premier Inn was very good indeed, the room was very clean, the mattress on the bed was very hard but each to their own, the bathroom was clean also but best of all was the breakfast it was lovely, very fresh looking and hot. By far the best one I have stayed in.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location, quiet, friendly, clean, staff are quick to get guests settled, the hotel is easy to navigate, food is cooked to order, fresh, great choice, room was warm, clean and had all you need for a lovely stay, extra pillows, tea, coffee, fan shower wash. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly, helpful. Would recommend a stay here anytime. We stayed the Easter weekend and staff were raisin money for GOSH. Parking and internet free. Very happy with our stay the best hotel we have stay in to date. 5 stars from us. Mr and Mrs Butler April 2026

I can’t say enough about this hotel the room is lovely and clean great view over the Quays. The staff are very warm and friendly the receptionist HANNA went above and beyond well done. The breakfast was great and the Hungry Horse restaurant had a great selection of reasonably priced food well cooked tasty and hot I would recommend the Salmon sizzler!

Lovely hotel. Great location with loads to do and places to eat. The Hungry Horse next door was great value for money and food hot and plenty of it. The hotel rooms were spacious and our room was nice a quiet for a great nights sleep. Very pleasant staff. Would like to recognise how kind your receptionist is. Thank you Hannah for your friendly nature which made such a difference. You were approachable, cheerful, and easy to talk to. It’s clear that you care about people, and that your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed.
