GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic!
The host was so helpful and attentive.
My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!)
Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too.

GGuest UserThe waiting area for check-in is very British and beautiful. We booked a classic room, which requires us to walk through the main building, pass the garden, and come to the second floor of a stable. The room is clean and the toilet is relatively large. But the location is a bit disappointing. The high price and high positioning of the hotel make us automatically assume that the view of the room will be particularly good, overlooking the city of Bath. The actual situation is disappointing. Looking out is the street view on the other side, and I dare not open the window. The pure British white old man helps you carry the luggage, making you feel embarrassed not to tip. The restaurant is very delicious, and the cauliflower is especially delicious. In this place, you have to keep communicating and making requests. They can do better.

JJ EmslieFantastic hotel. Luxurious but homely. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and could happily have stayed longer. Our room, like the whole hotel, was beautifully furnished and decorated, with a very comfortable bed and lovely walk-in shower. The record player was a lovely, quirky touch as well as the pantry! We enjoyed some very nice cocktails in the bar too. The location is perfect and it's just a few minutes walk to the city centre. We loved everything about the hotel and will definitely be back!

ZZhanqianyingSmall luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question.
The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival.
Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance.
We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great.
The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool.
The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable.
The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing.
We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself.
Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless.
When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird.
The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit.
The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

The bed was cozy. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Loved the stay overall and would definitely visit them again if I come back to Bath.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at The Bailbrook House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and all the food was excellent.
We had a small issue at breakfast as were quite late coming in for it and some of the fruit had gone, however having said that the poached egg and avocado on sourdough I had was to die for, and was delicious, and the full english was very good too. All in all it was all very enjoyable stay and would definitely return, and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

PPrateek SethiAn absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is set right by the river and old mill, which makes for stunning views from morning to evening. Waking up to the sound of the flowing water and looking out at the scenery was such a peaceful experience. The service was excellent – staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make everything comfortable. The combination of beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality made this one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. Highly recommended!

MmabelchangA typical mountain resort hotel. Located high up in the mountains, the roads are narrow, making passing cars difficult. This location is only suitable for those who drive. Those who don't drive are better off staying in a city hotel. The building is a bit dated, but fortunately, there's an elevator. There's ample parking at the entrance.

The room is quite big and unique. There is also a living room with a sofa.
The receptionist was nice. After a night out, I called an uber on my way back.
