Oldfields House

We stayed here during the Jane Austen festival and had a wonderful time! The workers are super friendly and helpful, great to ask any questions about Bath. The place has an old-school style that is so very charming. There’s a bit of wear and tear, but it doesn’t feel dirty or run down at all, just adds to the classic charm of the place. We had the Executive Room with Garden View and it was just lovely! I felt like a princess. The lounge and gardens are also beautiful and fun to take a look at. Just a heads up, if you’re going into the city centre by foot, it’s best to walk down to the centre, bu take a bus up to the hotel. The walk is very uphill. Definitely give this place a try!

The room was very clean and pretty! There is a pretty garden too. The staffs are very friendly. I’ll definitely book for the next time too. Thank you so much!

Good Very good parking Very tasty and plenty of choice at breakfast. Comfy bed Bad Left waiting outside property in rain as unable to enter building for 5 minute. When staff did let us in no apology and told “ well I’m on my own so couldn’t let you in” Since when is that the customers issue ? Not given the room I booked which was to be a four poster room. Told “ oh well at least you have a nice view” Maybe so but not the room I booked.

Good facilities, good staff attitude, access to the city center, reasonable price

We booked 2 rooms, both were gorgeous! We loved the extra touches that made us feel so welcome here. The location is fantastic- close to town. Only gripe would be the toilet flush, other than that we had a fab stay. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at Oldfields House. The location is ideal, a 15-minute walk from the train station and the city center. The room was spacious, very clean, and had plenty of storage. The staff were very kind, attentive, and helpful. I would definitely stay with you again on my next trip to Bath.

Fantastic place with good scenery and ambience, although a little far from city centre.

Lovely hotel, staff were all extremely friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and warm with lots of personal touches for the guests. The only comment I would have is the bathroom did have some black mold around the bath/shower.
