Honestly had so many little issues, all can go wrong, went wrong. Kudos to the receptionist doing her best to help but it is what it is. I think Tasman is a much better place to stay in Hobart just 5mins walk away and is a proper hotel.

We stayed in the Grove Balcony room which was clean and beautifully furnished with a lovely balcony overlooking Salamanca Place. The reception staff could not be more helpful and the location couldn’t be more perfect! Highly recommend!

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Very clean. Would highly recomend The Moss to anyone wanting to travel to Hobart as an excellent Hotel.

Very nice room in a great location right where all the best bars and restaurants are in Hobart at Salamanca market. Parking is a tricky one so be aware of this especially if you have a camper

The location is very good, right next to the Salamanca Market and very close to the port. There is a bar below and it is very convenient to eat at the port pier. The hotel is also very distinctive and has a great sense of design. It is worth recommending.
