Reviews of Hotel Siddhi Manakamana

Had a terrible experience at this hotel - booked it as a first stop in Kathmandu on arrival in Nepal, place to put my luggage while trekking and a last night before flying out of the country. There is no provision for bag check - no tag given or the like. Asked if could leave / check my bag was told yes and to leave infront of front desk. Two weeks later when I returned to the hotel bag was still in the lobby infront of front desk. Things were missing of course - none of great enough value to argue, but the fact they couldn’t even be bothered to move the bag a few feet to a closet / holding space or the like is indicative of the way this place rolls. Tried to book a shuttle for early morning to airport through hotel, listed as included service. Despite confirming and reconfirming, they arranged nothing. Instead at 5:15 AM it became a game of let’s make a deal and see how much we can charge while providing no evidence there was even a driver. In the end I gave up and carted my luggage to the street to get a taxi. Nepal is a wonderful country - this hotel was a consistent bad experience. Rooms themselves are meh - didn’t try the free breakfast, on site restaurant was pretty good, atmosphere/ food. This isn’t a cheap hotel by local standards - for the price point there are much / many options in the area.

I am enjoyed to stay here, breakfast was affordable.

Room was nice with garden view. Bathroom is nice but no shower gel . Hot water not coming in shower so had to take cold shower. Breakfast was fine but had to pay for iced latte later which was told free. Location is near to bouddha stupa which is good.

There is a garden and the restaurant is also in the garden. The single bed is a little small but very comfortable. There is a terrace facing the garden. Fortunately, it closes at 8 or 9 in the evening, so it becomes very quiet immediately.

There is a restaurant downstairs, which is very noisy. The service is average and the cost performance is not high

The environment of my hotel is very good. It is convenient to go to the Grand Tower. The room on the first floor is relatively humid. The Chinese food in the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast is also very good.

The room was on the first floor and it was quite humid because there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was good, but it was slow and took about half an hour to come up.

The bedding smells too bad and is not hygienic enough

Beautiful environment and good location

Real experience: When I went there, I was told that there were no air-conditioned rooms. When I entered the room, there was a musty smell and the sour smell of the bed not being fully dried... The room is smaller than 300, so please make your own decision.

The location of this hotel is very convenient, very close to the attractions I want to go to, the hot water for bathing is also very hot, and the water pressure is not bad. The hotel also helped us call a taxi to the airport when we left.
