I booked this trip with my daughter for a quick getaway and booked a junior swim up suite for 4 nights through *******. Words cannot describe how frustrated I am with our experience. We took the first flight out of our hometown airport hoping to spend the entire first afternoon in the sun. That did not happen because our room was supposed to be ready no later than 3pm the day of check in. We got the run around after I refused to take two twin beds that we were being offered by the front desk so I feel like I was “black listed” by the front desk team as a result. It took hours to get our room despite having a butler (whom was not able to effectively execute on any request I had for her). It wasn’t until a concierge manager noticed us waiting in the lobby and commented how long we were waiting did we get our room. He took matters into his own hands and personally walked us to our room and I was so grateful. He apologized for the room check in issues but I got no real explanation as to what happened. As an ******* member I was told early check in would be an option- again didn’t happen for us. My room wasn’t cleaned for two days and I was told it was as because I didn’t ask for it to be cleaned by pushing the button near the front door. Had my check in experience been handled properly I would have known this button needed to be switched on. The front desk team continued to be an issue during my entire trip. I asked for change multiple times at various points during my trip (small amounts breaking a $20 or $40) and I was told no change was available only to watch another hotel guest ask for the same thing right after me and be given change. I then asked the front desk if the hotel had an ATM machine and was told by a female agent that it was broken and she advised me to ask the bellhop about a local ATM in town. I let her know I was annoyed by this response and found the ATM myself which was fully functional. (Insert eye roll) If you’re traveling to this hotel, my advice is to be cautious about any complaints that you vocalize or you will run the risk of being completely blacklisted during your trip. It was extremely difficult to get dinner reservations at the à la carte restaurants and our butler never once helped with any of them. I even emailed the hotel in advance as part of my pre-arrival form asking for help booking à la carte restaurants. I was not given a response at the time. Overall, the food was one of the best at any inclusive I’ve ever been to and the bartenders and other service professionals were extremely professional and accommodating. Nightly performances weee very nice. I do not recommend using a butler they are not helpful whatsoever. I can’t say that I would go back to this hotel, which is disappointing because it has a great location is extremely clean and again the food is top-tier. I just can’t get over the crappy service we received by the front desk team!

Got in on Saturday and the bartenders at M Bar were very friendly and made the trip amazing from the start. Ariel, Rikelvin, incocencia, And Oscar are the reason I will come back. Highly recommended! Best week at the best bar.

First off, the staff has been incredible, especially Yuleidi (who gave us our first Mama Juana) and Julio from the front desk, and there has been a grounds crew worker who gave us fresh coconuts, which was an excellent touch. The food itself has been decent. We thoroughly enjoyed Aqua (the Italian restaurant) and Fuego (which shockingly had excellent sushi, including a Tokyo roll which they threw in off-menu). You know what you're getting in terms of quality at All-inclusives, so you can't expect 4 stars. The rooms are slightly dated but the staff has done an excellent job keeping everything stocked. The beach has not been overly crowded, which we love. The vendors can get annoying from time to time, but security does a decent job of keeping them x number of feet from the guests. The shows have been excellent too. All and all would definitely recommend Paradisus Punta Cana. Hopefully you're as fortunate as we were to have Yuleidi serve you.

My wife and I stayed at Paradisus Punta Cana for 10 nights, from Feb. 14 to Feb. 24, 2019. We are experienced travelers and have stayed at 13 all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Generally, Paradisus Punta Cana did not meet our expectations. This resort has a few positive features. The grounds are expansive and well groomed. Buildings are arranged in villas of approximately 16 units each. All but one night of our stay was spent in unit 2187, which was very close to the pool and most restaurants. Noise was not an issue, and our nights were quiet and restful. The beach is fabulous and great for walkers. A mile in each direction, no problem. Seaweed washed ashore a couple of days. This resort did not clean up the beach as well as other resorts we have experienced. There are not enough restroom, shower and foot washing stations near the beach. Most of the beach loungers are defective in that the notched prop for the backrest was installed backwards. This may sound trivial, but it makes it difficult to adjust the angle of your backrest. The pool is enormous and beautifully designed with a great swim up bar. There is not a lot of activity around the pool, so we spent most of our time on the beach. Upon arrival, we were assigned to room 1328, a first floor room. The room was full of mosquitoes and a number of items were in disrepair. The bathroom sink back-splash was warped and blistered from water and the faucet was old and tarnished. Rather than a bed for two, there were two smaller beds separated by a nightstand. There were only two small drawers in the closet and a rack to hang clothes. The drawers were not clean enough that I would put clothes in them. The bellman said that someone would be there in ten minutes to “put the beds together.” After 30 minutes, I tried to call Guest Services. Six calls, no answer. Finally I went to the front desk to request another room. Francine was very gracious, and later that evening offered us a new room for the next day, which we took. The second room was much better (2187). Still, the daily room cleaning and maintenance standard at this resort is lower than what we expect. Walking around the grounds was enjoyable. From our room to the hotel lobby was a five minute walk. The amount of resort vehicle traffic was very annoying. Passenger shuttles, service trucks and other resort vehicles were constantly driving by, causing pedestrians to have to move aside. There is plenty of room on this property to create a service drive; they should do it. The things I have mentioned so far may sound picky. We are experienced travelers and seek 5-star resorts because we want a high standard. In our opinion, this property does not meet that standard. We were generally disappointed in the food at this resort. The ala carte restaurants were average. We visited Mole, Aqua, Fuego, and The Grill. We thought each was just okay. The buffet, both Gabi Beach and Naos, was hugely disappointing. These two b

This resort is amazing! Everything from food, beach, cleanliness, pools, drinks, entertainment, but what stands out the most for me was OSCAR POLANCO and RIKELVIN APONTE at the M Bar. They made our trip at the Paradisus extra special, we felt like family!!!

We have just arrived from a week at Paradisus Punta Cana ( not Royal Service). We enjoyed our stay very much. From the first day the staff was very accommodating. after a little inconvenience in our room they arranged for a change to a luxury suite. The beach is beyond words, beautiful no algae and plenty of sunbeds. You do not have to wake up early to reserve a bed. Beds are available all the time with lots of space between spots. Late afternoon you could still find sunbeds around the most beautiful pool I have ever seen. Many bars available everywhere you go ! The pool bar makes the best Maitai ! The food at breakfast was plentiful and appetizing. Dinner buffet had many choices , you had a few places to choose from. We mostly ate at the Naos where staff was very friendly, many to serve you. Food was good, enough choices to vary your meals. A la carte restaurant were exceptionally good. Our favorites are Ventos, Bana and Aquos. Very delicious , service excellent. Our favorite place at the resort was the MBar at Gabi Beach. This where we meet the most amazing staff,we have to mention Inosencia, she was a sweetheart. Deyanira went out of way to serve us, She gave us the most thoughtful care. I also loved Andres, Rikelvin Ariel and so many more. Always welcoming you with open arms and welcoming smiles. I almost forgot Johairio he welcomed us at so many of our meals. It seemed he worked the seven days we were there! Also had such a gracious smile. The only negative comment I have about our stay is that our room had musty smell that stayed in our clothes on our return . After a good wash it was gone We certainly recommend this resort , the night entertainment is like no other resort I have been too ( over 7) We are in our 60s but followed the evening shows and loved all Hopefully we will be able to return next year !

We were overly concerned after reading prior reviews about making restaurant reservations and somehow felt compelled to schedule things. In fact, the best part about Paradisus is that you can pretty much do whatever you want, whenever you want....something some people call “a vacation”. You are assigned a “guide” for lack of a better word, who speaks your language, and helps out as you need it...using WhatsApp. Our guy was Jose, and he was very helpful. We met many of the people who work here, and they were, for the most part, very amiable, courteous, and real. We particularly were impressed by a young man named Yonny (last name started with Len....) who helped take care of tables in the buffet at the Reserve. A real pleasure. I hope he is recognized for his truly genuine nature and natural ease with people. So....What did we do about scheduling dinners? We quit. It was much more enjoyable to just show up, whenever we felt like it, with no reservation at the various buffets which had great food, different every night, a HUGE variety, and no pressure to get there at a certain time. All inclusive, lots to do, easy to do it, and nice people to do it with.

What a wonderful week our family had at the Paradisus in Punta Cana. What made our trip extra special was our personal Butler, Victor. He was so friendly and always available when we needed him. He made excellent dinner recommendations and reservations and seemed to remember everything we mentioned even casually. Royal service is definitely worth it. We have been before and this trip was the best. We will be back and we will request Victor as our butler! Muchas Gracias Victor!!!!
