Grand Bavaro Princess - All Inclusive

Great location! Beautiful space with animals, a pool, and a beach where the sargassum was cleared every morning. Excellent food, perfect themed restaurants for dinner, a lovely room with a bathtub and comfortable bed, 24-hour electric car transportation service, and a great gym. This place is perfect for couples, friends, or families!

Like most all-inclusive resorts, the food and drink quality isn't great. Don't go in expecting anything different. Even the themed restaurants offer very mediocre food and drinks. There's plenty of it, but not much quality. The facilities are in excellent condition. The suites are always clean and well-maintained. The service, in general, is okay. It's important to bring small bills for tips, as the service always improves when you do. The staff always expect to be tipped. Another point to consider is the size of the complex. Since it's so large, we had to take internal transportation to get to the beach or for breakfast, for example. One area for improvement is that they could do a better job promoting the available attractions, both included and extra. Because the resort is so big and has so many guests, personalized service is more difficult. But overall, it was worth it for the value.

This place was a huge disappointment. We stayed in a suite in the villa, and the air conditioning during the day was completely useless; the room never cooled down. It only started blowing somewhat cool air at night when the outside temperature dropped. There's no elevator, so if you don't call a bellhop, you're lugging your luggage up and down stairs yourself. It's at least a ten-minute walk to the restaurant, and in the daytime sun, you'll be drenched in sweat by the time you get there. One morning, I walked into the bathroom to find a large chunk of plaster from the ceiling on the floor. If that had hit my head, even if it didn't crack my skull, getting plaster in my eyes would have been awful. The internal phone in the room didn't connect to any department. On checkout day, I couldn't reach concierge for a pickup and really didn't want to drag my luggage for ten minutes in the scorching sun to the front desk. Luckily, I used my cell phone to make an international call to the front desk, and a luggage cart finally came. At checkout, the front desk even had the nerve to ask if I enjoyed my stay. After hearing my complaints, there wasn't a single word of comfort, and even their fake smile disappeared. It was an attitude of 'you're leaving anyway,' completely unbothered. If you don't want to suffer, absolutely avoid this place.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It has a large, well-maintained property with lots of greenery and peacocks roaming around. The beach is spacious, with white sand and an unbelievably colored ocean! There are many restaurants and a convenient booking system. Everything was fantastic, except for one thing – on my last day, I discovered that the lock code on my suitcase had been changed. It's unclear why the staff would do that, but it was unpleasant. I didn't lower my rating because of it.

This was the best room I've ever stayed in at a resort. I'll definitely be back!
