The hotel has a car at counter 35 at the airport exit, but there is a fee of 40 dollars for a family. Check out to the airport, there is also a car to send, but also pay 40 dollars per family. This was my second stay at the Majestic Elegance and third stay at the Majestic properties in Punta Cana as a whole. The resort is amazing. The staff are second to none, so engaging and friendly. The grounds are pristine and the accommodations are wonderful. The entertainments is great and so fun for guests of all ages. I am already planning my next trip back..

Overall I’d give a five star rating of it weren’t for a few things. First of all, we LOVED our stay here. My family had a wonderful time. We had a one bedroom suite and the set up was perfect for two adults and two kids. They had their own area and two beds were brought in for them. It still felt spacious and was nice that my husband and I still had privacy. The beach was beautiful! White sand and warm water.
Pros: Friendly staff (with the exception of the front desk), beautiful beaches, fun entertainment, great food, piano bar, Japanese restaurant, pools, beautiful hotel/rooms/grounds.
Cons: check in took some time and then they offered me a room upgrade, but wanted cash. I don’t feel like the price was transparent. She said it would be one price if I paid card, and less with cash and then somehow with cash it was still the same price. I was confused and annoyed and just wanted to get to the room. I wish I didn’t use my cash, I would have liked to tip the service staff more. We did a spa package and it was a nice treatment, but I wouldn’t do it again. The room was freezing which made it had to enjoy the massage and body wrap, and they forgot to do the therapy pool and sauna first. When we went to check out we were charged more that the package price. The front desk person argued with me, was rude and not at all helpful. I then had to pay the airport shuttle extra for waiting for me to try and figure it out.

Staff very friendly & helpful; food very good, especially buffets; beach and pool area nice; guest room very tired, poor quality linens on bed, tv reception poor, bathroom especially shower area very poor, leaky faucets; safe did not work; wifi excellent!

Unfortunately our overall stay was terrible, strongly advise people not to visit this hotel.
Long list of issues from service to room condition, management did little to nothing to address concerns. Shame was a 3rd time in DR in a year, this hotel left a bad taste.

We liked everything! Diego, our butler, was the best!!! He was always there for us for whatever we needed! Stiwar really made us feel special with visits & wine & his smile!! Great resort. We will be back!
