Reviews of Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive

I booked my stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana through Trip.com. Unfortunately, my experience was severely affected by a serious health issue during the trip, and the overall handling of the situation was disappointing. During my stay (November 26 – December 2, 2025), I became seriously ill with severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea, requiring medical attention. I did not leave the resort at any time and consumed only food and beverages provided by the hotel. While Trip.com successfully handled the booking itself, situations like this highlight the importance of stronger guest support and clearer guidance when travelers face serious issues during their stay. After the incident, responsibility was shifted back and forth, and no meaningful resolution was provided regarding the impact on my trip. I believe Trip.com could improve by offering more proactive assistance or advocacy for customers when major problems occur at partner hotels. I am sharing this review to help future travelers make informed decisions and to encourage better support when things go wrong.

100% recommendable! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always smiling. They even gave us a complimentary late check-out because our flight was very late. A big thank you to all the staff.

Not really great experience. Buffet closed for lunch and dinner. Only one restaurant with limited food choice open for lunch.

The majestic elegance is beautiful!!! Very clean, rooms are very nice. The average rating was because we paid extra for “Elegance club” adult only. This was our 29th anniversary and we wanted it to be kid free. We searched for a hotel that had adult only amenities. When we showed up at the hotel they told us those rooms were sold out in the adult only section. That was disappointing since we paid for that section. We were still able to use the amenities but they were two buildings away. We booked months in advance so that was disappointing. They did give us a voucher for $200.00. To be used towards a $360.00 massage. But we would have loved the room in adult only section instead. The drinks were great! The food average. Entertainment average. The staff-some were great but I would say around 90% don’t even acknowledge you with even a hello. Overall though the place is beautiful! The pools are well maintained and had a great vacation overall.

Excellent! A wonderful beachfront location with very attentive service from all the staff. The facilities are fantastic, and the room was very nice and spacious. Plus, since it's not a very large resort, you can easily walk to all the facilities and the various restaurants. The food was very good, with a wide variety and different themed options. Definitely worth repeating. The only downside was the quality of the cocktails, which were quite poor, as almost all of them were made with artificial ingredients and didn't taste good.

The beauty of the Caribbean Sea cannot be described in words. The beach of this hotel is very beautiful. There are six restaurants in total, and food is available all day. The all-inclusive package is really great, and all drinks are free.

The best resort I've ever stayed at!!! I booked the Majestic Elegance but at the reception I was given an upgrade while staying at the Majestic Mirage, simply SENSATIONAL. The food was wonderful in all the restaurants, but especially the Steak House and I'm grateful for the service provided by the waiter Jhonatan. I don't remember the name of the person at the reception who changed our hotel but we'd still like to thank him. It's also worth mentioning the drinks at the bars, which were of excellent quality and the very clean pools.
