I wanted to drop a note/review regarding a gel manicure I received at the spa. I was very impressed with the Russian manicure, as I have never experienced one before. The manicurist did a wonderful job! The manicure lasted more than 5 weeks and only needed to be updated because it had grown out so much. I then got another here in the US and it is already chipping and cracking and it hasn't even been 2 weeks. So if you are contemplating whether or not to get a manicure at the VIK Arena Blanca/VIK Hotel Cayena Beach... do not hesitate! I highly recommend it based upon my experience!

Cayena beach Location was great. Food was good although they should offer complementary heartburn pills room was nice but a bit moldy bedsheets were a little smelly and damp maybe a dehumidifier in the room other than that staff was friendly views were great. Would recommend cayena beach

Holidays in Holtu VIK are the best holidays of our lives. This hotel is a VIP zone for another hotel, whose infrastructure can also be used. The service at the hotel is fantastic, especially the reception staff. Barbara and Melany are extremely competent, patient, helpful people, they are ready to solve any problems and answer all customer questions. We Think that they have big experience in their position. The cleaning is carried out very thoroughly, the rooms are very clean and smell beautiful after cleaning. Specil thanks to Fideliwa who took perfect care of our room. When our faucet broke, the technician came very quickly. We has an apartment with a sea view which was amazing!!! Food is very good and varied. Hotel have private beach with beautiful views and always free sun loungers. In short, we cannot imagine a better hotel choice in the Dominican Republic. Thank you and I recommend for everyone!!!

This is a wonderful small hotel, just what we were looking for. The staff were very attentive , friendly and helpful. On arrival we were given a room at the side with a view of hotel next door. All of the rooms are sold as ocean view but we definitely didn't get one. Barbara helped us out and we were given a second floor room the next day with a glimpse of ocean. Be aware there is no longer a beach in front of Cayena section as it has eroded. On the plus side our pool and restaurant were the closest to the water than any other resort.

Our stay at the VIK Hotel Cayena Beach was nothing short of fantastic. The staff, particularly Mr. Johnathan, was always proactive and attentive to our needs. Meals were served simultaneously, allowing us to savor the exquisite cuisine as a family. Our beverages were promptly refilled, complementing the cozy warmth of the climate that was soothing to the core. The bartenders crafted superb cocktails and the cappuccino machine dispensed the finest coffee, perfect for beachside relaxation. Noteworthy too were the staff who readied the beach with plush towels and ultra-comfortable loungers, and the individual dedicated to maintaining the pristine cleanliness of the area – truly a valuable addition to the hotel. The beachfront was just steps away, with tractors tidying the sands each morning, making every sunrise and sunny day a breathtaking experience. The quality of the food, water, and drinks was top-notch, leaving us free from any digestive discomfort. With a vast selection of delectable options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there was something to delight every palate. The meticulous daily housekeeping ensured our room remained sand-free, as pristine as upon arrival. The beach provided the perfect setting for extended strolls by the stunning turquoise waters. I wholeheartedly endorse this hotel for an exceptional holiday experience.

If you are looking for a crazy , fast paced property this is not your place. However , if a relaxed, uncrowded experience is up your alley , this is your place The property is clean , service and food are good , and the smaller property is easy to navigate . We will visit again

We traveled with another couple from January 26 to Feb 4th and has a great time! Our room was huge, ground floor as requested due to mobility issues. Best thing about this resort is the service & food! Yes due to Mother Natyre, the beach is eroded but that didn't stop us from several ocean swins and daily beach walks. This is a quiet resort - not a lot of night life which suits us fine. Food was SPECTACULAR at for breakfast & lunch at the pool/ocean side cayena restaurant. Never any lineups at a la Carte or buffet for dinner. Many of the staff have been here for YEARS Pasquale is in his 24th! Shout outs to Barbra, Melanie in Administration and to our favorite bartenders and servers Juan Hayron, Luigi, Luisa...and many more!! We will be back!!

Our first time visiting the DR and we were fortunate to be able to book through a getaway under our timeshare. The accommodations were amazing from our newly renovated room to the stunning ocean views. Our morning breakfast and lunches at the VIP dining area was truly special as both Louisa, Carlos and the other staff were so attentive to us! Would definitely recommend for a future visit. Just a note that dinner choices, especially at the buffet restaurant left a lot to be desired and we never ate there.
