Homewood Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach

I liked everything about the hotel it was my first time ever staying at a Hilton and the staff was amazing and we had free breakfast every morning and on Wednesday evening they had snacks and arts for the kids and adults plus a very nice pool and lounging area. I definitely would stay there again

This is a nice hotel. Best thing about is the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. For some reason I was thinking the beach was closer but it wasn’t. It was a short drive. If u get a chance go to St Andrew bay. The water is AMAZING. Totally different from the water at the other beaches. No seaweed at all. I felt like I was in a part of Greece. Anyway, back to the hotel: my water pressure was very low the whole time and the toilet had to be fixed because it could barely flush. Overall I like it. I’d stay again if I need to but I’d rather be close to all the action and the beach.

Total experience was great. My issue was whoever was above me in 311. All nights around 9-11 pm it sounded like a wrestling match was taking place. The pounding was relentless. I was going to call; however, I did not want to get involved with whomever was above me. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating.

The hotel is set back from the roadway so I created a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was very good and plenty of seating available. The front desk actually texted me to let them know if I needed anything and it was very convenient for me in that I was able to text them if I had any questions or concerns. They responded right away. The check in was quick and efficient. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were wonderful and spacious.

Overall, the building is new and very clean/ well maintained; Our room was very nice and clean too! However, the dining room got a little dirty/messy during breakfast and there was no staff to do routine cleaning during breakfast. Taylor at the front desk told us we had to pay $50 to check in 2 hours early.

The hotel was beautiful and the amenities were comparable. Housekeeping was poor. We stayed 5 nights and housekeeping was requested and our room was not cleaned. We only asked for clean towels and trash bags & were told we had to come get them from the front desk. One afternoon housekeeping came to our room unannounced. They opened the door and I told them what we needed. Placed the soiled towels at the door and they left. They didn’t leave replacement towels or leave trash bags. I found that quite suspicious. No knock and once they realized we were in the room they left and didn’t honor my request. I reported all that to the front desk with no sort of follow-up. Hotel guest had trash and dirty towels outside their room doors because it was not checked or cleaned. The large trash can on the floor was over filled with trashed.

This was a great hotel and would highly recommend. The room was exceptionally clean, and very nice. They had lots of great amenities, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

New hotel! Staff was friendly and attentive to needs; very good breakfast; good location.
