Hotels in Ganh Dau,Phu Quoc Island
Located in Phu Quoc, TK Phu Quoc Hotel - Grand World Phu Quoc is just steps from Shophouse Grand World and a 4-minute drive from Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc. This hotel is 1.2 mi (2 km) from Corona Casino and 2.3 mi (3.7 km) from VinWonders Phu Quoc. Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access and a television in a common area. Additional features at this hotel include tour/ticket assistance and a reception hall. The complimentary beach shuttle makes getting to the surf and sand a breeze. A complimentary full breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and an elevator. Make yourself at home in one of the 28 air-conditioned rooms featuring flat-screen televisions. Your memory foam bed comes with down comforters and premium bedding. Complimentary wired and wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming provides entertainment. Bathrooms feature showers with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries.

"The hotel boasts an extremely convenient location, right within Grand World and just a five-minute walk from the bus stop. Yet, it's situated on the very last street, so there's no noise from the cafes and entertainment of Grand World, though it's still literally a three-minute walk away. The building where the hotel is located, as well as the adjacent ones, currently have no other businesses or entertainment, making it quiet in the evenings and at night. The location is simply a 10 out of 10. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and responsive. They were accommodating with all requests and provided helpful information (where, what, and how to get there). The room is compact but stylish; credit to the designer. All the essentials are there: a kettle, a mini-fridge (not a full-sized refrigerator, but at least it's there), and a safe. Plus, there's a good Smart TV with excellent picture quality; we watched YouTube in the evenings. The mattresses are comfortable and good quality. What I didn't like were the glass partitions for the shower and toilet. Even though they were partially covered with an opaque film, you could still see (and hear!) the silhouette of a person 'on the pot' from the bed. I would have preferred more privacy in that regard. Also, something I've encountered in almost all hotels, and here too, are poorly cleaned floors. After showering and walking around the room in the evening, you go to bed with dirty feet. The floors should be cleaned better, maybe not every day, but at least a thorough wipe-down once a week. However, I've seen this issue in other hotels I've stayed at in Phu Quoc. The soundproofing from the corridor through the entrance door isn't great. When a neighbor walked down the hall in heels and clanked suitcases in the evening, it was clearly audible in the room. However, I couldn't hear anyone in the adjacent rooms (and there were people staying there); the noise only came from the corridor. Breakfast is available and quite decent, but repetitive. It includes rice, pasta, pho, eggs/omelets, fried battered chicken, sausages, toast with jam, coffee/tea/compote. I've listed the main items. The breakfast didn't change at all during our four-day stay. For a 3-star hotel, it's acceptable, though if you stayed here for a long time, the breakfast would get boring. If you're looking for a hotel for a short stay (3-7 days) to visit the safari, Grand World, and VinWonders, this hotel is an excellent choice due to its location, reasonable price, and sufficient amenities for a three-star level. For a long-term stay, probably not. Overall, I recommend the hotel; I wouldn't call the listed drawbacks critical."

LleeIt is one of the best services in the world! The staff there was so nice, especially NAM! He has the nicest heart! I had lost my wallet on the car to this hotel, and this staff helped us contact the driver and help us get back the wallet, which contains over 17,000,000 VND! I was trying inf to call myself, but he offered help and even knocked on our hotel room door to ask if everything's ok! That was so nice of him! Also the beach was so good! the room is good as well with great aircon and clean room!

AArul KandasamyThe resort’s 1920’s French colonial architecture evokes old world charm and is breathtakingly beautiful. We liked the many mature trees and flowers dotted throughout the resort which gave it a serene and very tropical feel. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights in a beach view villa, which literally was on the beach. We were lulled to sleep every night with the sound of waves coming into shore. Although the rooms are a bit dated (the resort is 19 years old) the paint was brand new and all the rooms were beautifully decorated. The swimming pool was a regular hang out spot for us as it afforded beautiful views of the ocean. Breakfast was a sumptuous buffet spread with Vietnamese, Asian and Western options. There were also ala carte options eg egg station, fresh soup noodles and french toast, crepes and waffles. We particularly liked the freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee and assortment of delicious pastries. For lunch and dinner, food served at Le Bar and the Pepper Tree, both Vietnamese and Western options were outstanding. We enjoyed the food so much that we hardly ate outside the resort ! Staff were professional, friendly and extremely helpful, Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging tour guides to customising food options. In particular, Sam the concierge was always cheerful and available to assist us at any time, Last but not least, the spa is a “must do”. The treatment rooms are beautifully decorated and tucked away in a quite and calm setting. The therapists very talented at easing away all the stress and worries you may have.

MMaDeGBeautiful hotel area located on the beach. Each room has its own terrace from which you can see the sea. Good varied breakfasts in a wonderful restaurant on the beach. Great service. In the evening you can admire the sunsets. The sea is clean, the beach is clean. On the downside, the plumbing does not work properly, in particular the toilet does not flush well. The bathroom is never ventilated even with the window fully open, which is why there is a constant musty smell. Old and thin towels, sheets and pillowcases, almost yellow in color.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel on my first day in Phu Quoc Island. After getting off the plane, I took the free bus No. 17 or No. 19 to Holiday sense station, which is near King Kong Supermarket. The hotel is about 1 km away on foot. Remember not to take a taxi, otherwise it will cost 200,000 NTD for such a short distance, which is very expensive. The hotel was nice for two nights. Many Russians stayed in this hotel for a long time. The hotel also provided free breakfast, which was not bad. The only drawback was that the hot water in the room was sometimes good and sometimes bad. It was warm water on the first night and hot water on the second night, so I don't know why. It depends on my luck!

MMikhailA wonderful hotel! The staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, were absolutely exceptional. Our bungalow with direct access to the sea was excellent. Just a hundred meters from the hotel, you'll find a motorbike rental and a small shop. The hotel's restaurant was definitely up to par, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. If you're looking for a hotel for a quiet, comfortable getaway, this is absolutely the place! We would love to return to this hotel!

MmrAntonIt's very atmospheric, very green, close to the road but you can't hear anything. The pool is nice, cleaned and maintained. A big plus is the nearby sauna – free, although it's hot, it's great to steam and jump in. The rooms are simple, separate cabins, with air conditioning and a fan – convenient. Each room has a mini terrace where you can comfortably sit and enjoy the fresh air. The price includes yoga classes in the morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (reservations required), and breakfasts for 150,000 rubles per person (choice of 3: bacon and eggs, porridge with fruit, or pancakes with fruit). The staff is attentive. Motyk is 150,000 rubles a day. Airport transfers are 150,000 rubles. The bar offers free mini snacks, coffee, and an electric kettle. The water filter is a big plus – you can refill your water supply and drink it constantly. Very convenient and affordable. There's no toothpaste, toothbrush, or soap in the bathroom (not a negative, just so you know), but there are paper towels, shower gels, and shampoo. There's a refrigerator in the room. A minor drawback: be prepared for the bathroom. The upper part of one wall is covered with a mesh screen, meaning the bathroom temperature is closer to the outside, and the transparent screen overlooks another hotel. It's not very comfortable. But this doesn't affect the overall experience. It's a great, budget-friendly hotel; I recommend it.

EErickTo summarize ”Chez Carole” failed to impress me. I stayed 6 days early November. As mentioned by other reviewers there is a lot of potential but... The beach and the tranquility are definitely a plus. The beach is nothing extraordinary but it is ideal if you just want to relax and enjoy ”farniente”. However there long chairs are far from comfortable. Plain hard and heavy wood (or good imitation) with nothing on top to soften the contact ;-) There are a couple of ”kayaks” and 2 ”surf” boards to use for free. What I missed most in the hotel was facing caring and welcoming employees. There was no hello, no good morning (except at the restaurant for breakfast and even there not always) or good day. Mostly no eye contact. With very very few exceptions the staff was distant, not welcoming and, well, not helping really. John the manager does his job professionally but I missed a deeper contact. Chinh in charge of the egg station (very good omelets) and pho was great and fun and helpful. So was Thienh (?) in the kitchen cooking wonderful plates with fish for me every night. A bright smile. A desire to please guests. Genuinely. I loved that ... and of course the food he prepared. Tâm in the restaurant was also very professional and helpful. These guys helped me feel better at the resort. Hospitality throughout Vietnam is absolutely great so my experience ”chez Carole” surprised me quite a bit. Overall the resort feels old and just maintained to survive. Dull in my opinion but, agreed, this is very personal. Also it is obviously in a remote place. It is some 2 or 3 Km walk/drive to the closest village therefore renting a motorbike or using Grab (or just asking the hotel for taxi) can be something to consider. Btw the closest Vinbus (free electric buses throughout the island, running every 15 minutes or so) stop is roughly 4 Km from the resort. I booked one of the cheapest rooms. Spacious with a desk, a good sized fridge, a locker and an efficient air conditioning system. Weird enough the fridge would only work with the key in the key holder. So taking the key with you would shut down power (electricity) for all devices, including the fridge. Not ideal to keep anything cool in the fridge when leaving for the day... The breakfast was nothing exceptional I found, especially for guests suffering from food ”incompatibilities” (in my case ”sugary” items because of diabetes due to surgery). For ”normal” people the spread was quite good with a large sweet section (breads, cakes, fruits). Unless you really want it quiet, secluded, next to a beach and with an affinity for more ”traditional” housing architecture resp. feeling with an interesting pricing, you may want to also consider other options.

SSergei MozolevHotel near Long Beach. Bungalow next to the pool. The room is large with a huge bed. Comfortable bathroom and toilet. The downside is the large panoramic window, which had to be constantly curtained from prying eyes. The location of the sockets is inconvenient; to boil the kettle you had to fence around towns. A strange employee at the reception, who first checked us in, and then for a long time could not figure out how to pay for the room. Breakfast buffet, average. We stayed for one night on the day we arrived in Phu Quoc; there was no desire to stay for more days. There is a pipe exit on the beach... well, you know, it was built by a carpenter, where the sunbeds are from which hotel is not clear, the staff runs around and kicks them out without much understanding. The path from the hotel to the beach is paved with sharp stones, which is not comfortable for bare feet. The pool is large, but muddy, did not swim.
