My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway trip. We were very happy with our stay here. Staff was helpful and kind; plenty of parking; walking distance from lots of restaurants and shopping; it's so close to everything. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness only because its just a lil dated here; which we didn't mind, but there are probably others that it would. Will stay here again on our next trip to Beaufort.

The key card to room didn't work. I was not able to enter. They changed card three times and it only worked occasionally. I was left outside waiting for assistance.

As an inspector of fire protection systems I feel like I must contact the local and state Fire Marshall about what I seen at this property. Besides that the room was dirty and the beds you could roll off they were so slanted. When we walked into the room the ac was set to 86!
The breakfast was horrible the oj was vomit as well the gravy for the biscuits. Only thing edible was the prepackaged cereal.

This place is cheap for a reason. If you're broke and desperate, and can overlook everything dirty, crumbling, and stinky then this spot is for you. There were still things in the room left over from previous people, the bed felt like it was made of slabs of cardboard and the TV didn't turn on. I doubt that carpet had been cleaned in years. There was also a residual stench of rotten eggs that permeated through the area. I left a day early. I'd rather spend a little more money than experience a room like that again.

This hotel when I go to visit my son down in South Carolina for the price it's clean. As in most older hotels, definitely could use updates. The staff was friendly, and when I come with my two service dogs, there's never an issue which is much appreciated. And very cool that you can get parked passes to go and joy for free just by checking them out at the desk.
