Firstly I'd like to mention the manager was personable and tried to off set our inconvenience with a 10% discount but the incident alone I will NEVER stay with this location again. Issue... We checked in semi smoothly around 7pm. We unloaded the kids, dog and overnight bags. We found our room easy peasy but noticed an obvious smell of ********* not great but not surprised due to Oregon laws. Then we noticed the TV on which was weird. I looked around the door and saw personal items in a plastic bag. I say shoot this room is occupied and we all barreled out of the room!! Solution... Husband, kids, bags and dog wait outside on the curb, while I walk back to the front desk to get an unoccupied room?! The front desk helper doesn't look as shocked as I was after walking into an occupied room?? She explains calmly ”oh they checked out but apparently never left” at 730pm I'd imagine their checked out should of been closer to 11am-noon?? They no longer had a double queen available. They updated us to a king with a pull out which was fine. We were able to get some extra kitchen supplies, bedding and we were set for the night. Pro - Our room was clean, our beds were comfortable and it was a dog friendly stay. Con - I slept with one eye open in fear someone might come barreling into our room. In conclusion, I've stayed a lot of places and I have never been assigned somebody elses room. That to me seems like a real oddity and a HUGE safety concern. Not only for me having no idea what I'm walking into but for the person having no idea who's entering?? I mean take a minute to truly envision my family's surprise, we all rushed in without any hesitation we could have walked in on literally anything. Avoid this uncomfortable stay.

More expensive than most hotels located within its proximity and can do a little upgrade in terms of amenities since guests are paying more. Staff are very friendly as always.

Asked if we could check out late (2 instead of 12) was told that 2 is the latest we could stay which was great. Next day we were called and asked if we still wanted a late checkout and I said yes, then I was told about a $25 fee. I was NOT told about the fee the night before. I didn't mind paying it, but I do believe I should have been told as soon as I asked. There was water draining from under the building into the parking structure. The other guests are very easy to hear while going through the hallway and very loud. Was a very convenient location, clean room and smelled very fresh.

Stayed for nearly two weeks, the hotel room has a small kitchen, very suitable for families. Next to the hotel is fred mayer, it is very convenient to purchase fuel! Satisfied, I will choose next time I go to Portland.

What a disappointment, we booked this hotel online for our trip to Boy Camp for our son's birthday, and the reviews looked pretty good. The hotel had a pool supposedly, but it was closed due to lack of maintenance and was all dirty and yucky which fitted the state of the rest of the outdoor facility where there were lots of trash, overfilled trash cans, and lots of signs of this hotel not being taken care of or upheld. The room itself was fine and clean like a Motel 6 but not as well upheld with fridge, cable tv, and that stuff, the bed was fine, but the pillows were lumpy and super uncomfortable. The number one safety tip on the sleeve for the key said to use the deadbolt on the door, ours was broken and part of it missing. There was no table in the room so we decided to use the outdoor space with tables and chairs to enjoy our dinner, but it was dirty with lots of trash on the ground. We didn't have super high expectations, but for $160 a night this place is a DUMP, and not how we had hoped to celebrate a kid's special day. Now to see what breakfast looks like, we were told it's to go, so we expect dry bagels/muffins, I hope I am wrong. So we decided to head out early and grabbed the ”breakfast” bags on the way out which contained a small orange, a hard mini muffin, and a granola bar, so barely a snack for growing boys as they put it. Needless to say, we went to a nearby store and bought breakfast. All in all a huge disappointment and we will for sure never stay there again, I mean if the owners can't even clean the pool for the 4th of July weekend, seriously 😒Such a dirty and disappointing place.
