Great location! Nice rooms with a kitchenette and a balcony. Bathroom was standard but the shower fixture was hard to set to luke warm water. So annoying. It would either go cold or extra hot but not what you need for a plesant shower. I stayed only 2 nights and my room was in the "older" building thats closer to the pier. Their new hotel is adjacent but positioned much higher and looks like it has more modern rooms. I think it was called Ponta Nova (New Ponta). One odd thing is that both nights we had two "twin bed" sized sheets on a full/queen sized bed! Never seen that before. I asked the receptionist about it and she said they would fix it- but the next day it was still the same. This is why my rating is 4 stars. Ponta has a decent restaurant on the ground/pier level od the "older building" that offers great continental style breakfast buffet style for only 7 euros per person and from there you can walk off to the beach thats close nearby. The waiters (both male and especially the blonde female) were very friendly and caring. The view from the room is amazing! I was on the third floor.
