I was unable to have a bath/shower or shave, as the shower only had hot water and the sink only had cold water. The woodwork in and outside the bathroom was rotten with flaking paint. The curtains are not blackout and with the services right outside the windows at the front, it was very light and noisy.

I’m sure this is not the best example of a Travelodge. It did the job and at the original price given I would have accepted it for what it is. Price advertised £25.99 actual price basic room no extras £41.99 not sure why the price changed the room certainly

When I arrived I had to wait for about 10 minutes for somebody to appear, even after calling the number on the sign multiple times. Then when I went up to my room the corridor and the room absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke... not even a faint whiff, but very heavy smoke. Thankfully the young lady allowed me to try another room, which smelt considerably less of smoke; however had I not wanted that room, I am not sure there was another option or resolution available.

I was a bit concerned having read recent reviews! But found all 3 rooms we booked to be clean, comfortable and everything you would expect from a travelodge. My only minor criticism is the wait at reception for a staff member to come out to check us in - we saw other people waiting also during our stay. Otherwise, good value for money.

Horrendous. Bathroom was disgusting - someone else's used bar of soap was left on the bathtub, the bathroom floors had never been cleaned a day in their lives. Taps, shower head and bathtub itself were not clean. Lock on the door was hanging off. Awful smell in the corridors and everything just generally sticky and unclean. Also a bit weird to not have the option of having the bed made up when you request a room refresh. Do not recommend.

we had to check out of this hotel immediately after checking in The hotel is disgusting and this can be seen as soon as we pulled up outside to the dirty area in front of the hotel with litter and cigarette ends all over the front of hotel inside we were immediately met with an awful smell throughput the hotel which gave us an immediate headache People have been smoking in the hotel The bathroom floor was wet and also a foul smell in the room Absolutely disgraceful did request a full refund but doubt we will get it Don't go there

Poorly maintained. Surfaces felt sticky to touch. Sheet was uncomfortably rough. Toilet wasn’t attached to the wall -scary. Non slip bath mat was stuck on so in no was could the bath be cleaned properly.

Room was very clean and well maintained the bed was very comfy and hardly any noise inside or outside the reception and housekeeping staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean inside and out and plenty of parking

The receptionist (Viv) was lovely giving us all information we needed. There was a power cut during our stay due to a storm and Viv was really helpful even though she was getting abuse from another person in the hotel she still kept very a professional manner going above and beyond to help us. Staff like this would make my company book up again when working in the area. 5*
