The service was okay but when we checked in they asked to see our travel log history in which we showed them but they opened up a previous customers travel history and they were worried that we had been to Shandong province but in fact they just hadn’t checked the Chinese persons travel history and they were being overly cautious because we were foreigners. We have been in Beijing for months. They also gave our room to someone else but kindly gave us a lovely upgrade to the executive apartments. The breakfast was quite disappointing the pastries were dry with a hot lamp above them and there was no flavour but a lot of variety for Chinese breakfast style food if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t call this a international breakfast. The waitress in the breakfast lobby kindly found us some room temperature water because they only had hot water at the buffet. Because of the location we really enjoyed our stay but we probably will not go again. The amenities were alright but for such a lovely big bath tub there was only one small bottle of body wash which only lasted one tub use and then we couldn’t have a shower or go in the tub again because there was only one bottle between the both of us. I wouldn’t say not to recommend this hotel, it would be very good for people on business trips and big families but I wouldn’t recommend it for couples. Of the five hotels we have stayed in within Beijing, this hotel is ranked last.

A very warm and satisfying stay experience. It was very cold this weekend but we felt warm and happy, especially with a baby. Because the baby likes duck elements, we informed the relevant hotel staff in advance and the hotel helped prepare little yellow duck balloons for the baby. I was very happy when I checked in and kept saying that I would come back next time. The hotel took great pains to arrange the baby's sugar control request. The exquisite snacks prepared were specially prepared to reduce sugar. It was great. I took my baby to the hospital today because I was not sure whether I would be able to come back at noon. A handsome and tall staff at the front desk was very helpful. He patiently and attentively told me not to be anxious, and helped us delay check-out until three o'clock, so that we had enough time to take a rest after taking the baby back from the hospital, and the baby could also adjust. In fact, the normal check-out time is two o'clock in the afternoon. Thank you very much for the warm-hearted gesture of the staff in special circumstances. I have been to Beijing frequently with my baby in the past few years. This is my first time staying at the Mandarin Oriental. The internal environment and the overall quality of the staff are worthy of praise. The staff are polite and smiling everywhere I go. I think I will stay there again in the future. I will choose Mandarin Oriental Hotel again with my parents and family, thank you!

Advantages: 1. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Tiananmen Square. The nearest station is Qianmen Station on Line 2. You can walk to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the city tower, and the Forbidden City. You can also ride Tiananmen at night. 2. The lobby is very grand, the hotel covers a large area and has a garden corridor. 3. The doorman service is very good. 4. We live on the 10th floor of Block A. The room is about 38-40 square meters, which is quite spacious. The corridor is very quiet. Only by swiping the card can you go to the floor you live in, which is very safe. 5. The hotel buffet breakfast is rich in categories. Disadvantages: 1. The sound of the air conditioner is quite loud, and it is also obvious when sleeping at night. 2. The shower water in 1024 flows out in a lump, which should be broken. The water in the shower was leaking from the cracks and the toilet floor was overflowing with water. 3. The supplies of daily necessities are not timely. For example, my mother's soap is gone, and I have to call the front desk to deliver it. 4. The phone at 1023 was broken, and when I called the main station, I heard a buzzing noise. 5. The momentum of the toilet is relatively weak. 6. There is no main light in the room, only corridor light, bedside light, typhoon, floor lamp. A little darker. 7. The windows are fully sealed, semi-floor windows. The above is the real experience of staying in two rooms for five nights. After all, the price of summer vacation is also very expensive, but the hotel has been renovated for a long time and the facilities are relatively backward. All in all, I feel that the price is still on the high side.

Madison Hotel Wangfujing Tiananmen Beijing

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The hotel I originally stayed at was unavailable for some reason. Thanks to the Ctrip platform for helping me switch to this hotel. The hotel is located very close to Wangfujing Street and a four- to five-minute walk from Wangfujing Subway. It is absolutely convenient to travel. The lobby of the hotel is bright and clean, and the entire decoration style is modern, light and luxurious, very fashionable. The rooms are equipped with smart lights, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is large and clean. There is also a laundry area in the public area, which is convenient for business travelers who want to stay for a few more nights. The restaurant environment is very good, and the breakfast variety is also rich. The hotel's front desk waiters, restaurant waiters, and room waiters all have very good attitudes and will proactively greet you warmly. The stay experience was very good, I will choose it next time

The location of the hotel is very good. It is about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing. You can come back to catch up on your sleep after watching the flag-raising ceremony in the morning. It is very quiet at night. The breakfast is very good. The room type I chose It is especially suitable for a family of four. You can cook your own meals. There is a separate laundry room, which is equivalent to a small two-bedroom and one-living room. Overall, it is very good in all aspects, especially the hotel also has a small courtyard, which is good for those with children. You can go swinging. I’m very lucky to have stayed in a very good hotel this time when I came to Beijing!

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was warm water and hot drinks to welcome us back to the hotel everyday. Highlight was the self service cotton candy machine and the rooftop with views of Forbidden City. Buffet breakfast spread was also very good. It is about 5-10mins walk away from the main Wangfujing shopping street, but still very convenient. Definitely made our first trip to Beijing with young kids a very comfortable one.

Very good service, feels like home. The hotel closest to Tiananmen Square is very convenient for watching the flag raising. Just go half an hour early. You don’t have to be tired to visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, etc. The transportation is very convenient and the experience is great. I only asked for a birthday decoration when I checked in, but unexpectedly the hotel unexpectedly gave me a surprise birthday cake in the evening. Our room faced Tiananmen Square, and outside the room was the Forbidden City and Chang'an Street. It was a beautiful view. Breakfast is full of Iberian ham, braised beef noodles and eggs Benedict are also full of sincerity. The hotel's ice cream and Buddha Jumping over the Wall are also delicious. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Beijing's Tiananmen Square. Every service staff is really nice. I commend Huang Yang of the front office by name and introduce him to the young man who is enthusiastic, generous and comprehensive. Please come on and stay as an intern.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen
I forgot to take pictures, except that there is no elevator, everything else is fine, especially right next to the 07 security checkpoint. I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and strolled to Tiananmen Square. After waiting for a while, the flag was raised. It is also close to the Forbidden City. I walked there and ate. It’s more convenient. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Dashilar. The front desk and service staff are very friendly. They even gave me a few refrigerator magnets when I left. I will choose to stay there next time I go to Beijing.

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area
The room facilities are average, but the service staff is very patient and responsive to requests. The service attitude is very good. The decoration is antique. You have to walk for a while to go anywhere. There is no elevator. There is a lot of luggage. If you live on the second floor, you need to carry your luggage yourself. The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum are not far away, nor are they very close. If you have bad legs, you can get there by bicycle or take the bus at the door in 2 stops. You also need to walk a distance to eat, basically about 1.2 kilometers, to reach the place where you can eat, drink and have fun.
