We recently stayed here for two nights whilst getting married in Beijing, to say we were treated is an understatement. Our room was upgraded as soon as the lovely staff heard about the occasion; they’d organized for some beautiful decorations to be laid out on our bed and instantly we knew we’d made the right decision. The following day after our marriage ceremony we had an incredible afternoon tea in The Lounge. But, before this two incredible employees (Daisy and Barbie) helped us take some wedding day pictures around the hotel, they made us feel so welcome and important, they suggested brilliant places to take pictures around the grounds and we took a couple with them too so we could remember the experience. We went out for a meal that evening and expected to come back to our beautiful hotel room and enjoy some champagne our friends had bought us. Upon return we were blown away, the staff had laid out the most beautiful arrangement in our hotel room, with printed and framed pictures that Barbie and Daisy had taken earlier in the day, a bottle of champagne on ice, a cheese and meat platter and most thoughtfully, a hand written card signed by all of the front of house staff. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more, they made our trip incredibly memorable and every moment in their staff’s presence was a pleasure. Thank you to all of the staff at the Ritz-Carlton Beijing! Loved our stay at this hotel for the Chinese new year Holiday. Nearly everyone at the front desk speaks English, they are very polite, friendly and helpful with anything. They're so kind it makes me want to stay again just because of the front desk haha. Apart from the staff, the room was beautiful, large, big bed, great bathtub, well maintained, stunning view and a very well equipped kitchen. The kitchen had everything you possibly could need in terms of utensils. Gym is well equipped with technogym all though a bit small, but it has everything you need, very clean. Shame the pool wasn't open, so if you book hoping to swim, be sure to call and check if the pool has opened. For families with kids the location is perfect as it's in between multiple shopping malls and great indoor play places for kids, even has it's own mall attached to the hotel with a very cute play place on the third floor, if I remember correct. We tried a new place every day and they were all located within walking distance, happy Daughter! A play place called Mamatata is the only one I'd avoid if you want to shield your kids from nightmares, nasty zombies and skeletons growling are frequently appearing on the big screen. It's in a shopping mall on the opposite side of the road, one block away. Our Daughter cried her heart out because she got so scared when they suddenlt popped up, we had to leave as they didn't want to turn it off... Anyway, The play area they have for kids by the lobby could need some improvement, very cosy but many toys are broken etc. Deposit is high, 1000rmb a night, which is a little bit unnecessary I feel but it is what it is, you'll get it back if you don't break anything haha . We did break a glass though but they didn't want to charge us for that, very kind. I'd definitely come again!

Atour Hotel (Joy City, Chaoyang Road, Beijing)

The location is good, just 1 kilometer away from Joy City, so you can easily solve your food and drink problems. The surrounding area of the hotel is very quiet, and the sanitation and environment are very good. The guy at the front desk also upgraded the floor for free. When entering the store, he will provide a hot drink, which is very heartwarming! I will call you before arriving to ask for the arrival time, which is great!

The subway is just downstairs from the hotel! Really downstairs! Right outside the door is the subway entrance! Huge, huge, huge convenience! ! ! The tourist attractions in Beijing are very large, so you need to walk at least 10,000 steps a day. If you are tired, you can reach your hotel right after you get off the subway. This is great! There are Juewei Duck Neck and convenience stores nearby.

They are all very good, a little bit not very easy to find, but the victory is to protect the privacy of the guests and not meet the host throughout the whole process. Password lock. Direct check-in does not need to register or anything, just send an ID card photo. fast
