The hotel room is spacious, bathroom is spacious. The shampoo & bath gel are nice. Room slippers are provided. Walking distance to the cable car station. The staff cannot speak English, we have to use translator app. They were very helpful. We had very nice experience here. Recommended.

We had been changed to stay at the W water town instead of the academy Great Wall due to renovation issues. The new hotel is good, the breakfast is delicious and has plenty of various food.

We really love this hotel. It is located at the heart of the city. Next to the food court, a short walk to the fountain show and entrance to Simantai Great Wall.. Beautiful surrounding .Great services. Don't forget to go out of the back door of the room to visit the private area, which has many photo spots with a view of the pagoda. Breakfast is sufficient and good. Very comfortable with complementary hot spring and shuttle bus and luggage services.

Very nice and beautiful hotel right in the middle of the town, so is accessible to go anywhere, and about 15 mins walk to the base of Simatai great wall cable car. The lady staffs are polite and helpful. The deluxe family room is really big and spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Their indoor hotspring at another location nearby is good too. Breakfast spread is decent and tasty.

The room was big and simple. But, there were no view from the room window. The breakfast was cheap food and not value for money. Anyway, I won't go back to this tourist spot. The tourist spot is beautiful with the Great Wall walking pathway.

Although the reservation was made for the Great Wall Book House, it was upgraded to Gubei Light due to maintenance. Although the winter feeling has not faded, it was appropriately quiet and easy to take pictures. It is still very tiring to walk a lot. It is suitable for slow play. People with poor legs and feet should consider it carefully. Others are okay. I was so happy to see the drones in the courtyard at night, and there was a New Year's Eve concert and countdown! I have been to Gubei several times in a year, and every time I come, it is worth the trip. The scenery of the four seasons is endless, and the small bridges, flowing water and people are all so beautiful!
