Beijing Sunshine Courtyard Farmhouse

This stay was excellent. The host and her two co-workers treated me with such care and attention. There is an upstairs and a downstairs with not many customers. There should be so many more customers! They offer home-cooked breakfast and have every amenity you could possibly think of and more. The hostess was very helpful with helping me purchase tickets for the Great Wall and I could also see part of the Great Wall from my bedroom. They had everything prepared from 5G Wi-Fi to toilet seat covers. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay. This place was so lovely and the hosts’ service is top notch. The area is very quiet, we had a good rest after a long flight and before our trip at the great wall. The location is also great, its walking distance to great wall entrance and the hosts purchase tickets for us at a discounted price. The place itself is nice for its price. The room is decent, the bed is comfy, air condition works well. The water from the shower was ice cold, good thing there’s a heater. For breakfast, we requested home cooked meal, the coffee was great. Overall it was such a good experience. We had a pleasant stay and this place is highly recommended. Many thanks to the host.

I could see the Great Wall from my bedroom window. I could easily walk to the wall from the hotel. The host was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful and good company in the evenings. She cooked my breakfast on all four mornings for a small fee. She drove me to Huanghuacheng and she even walked me down to the bus stop in the rain! The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a good hot shower attached. The price of the room was very good. It all made for a truly memorable time in China! (All my full days there were sunny and warm)

Nice, neat, warm and cozy room with the Great Wall view from your glass door. The place is 600m away from the entrance gate (you can take a chairlift ride from there to tower 6). Note: You don't have to book the shuttle bus if you are taking this stay. The land lady is extremely kind, cordial, and very helpful. She offered us food, gave us hot water, booked tickets for rides giving discounts and also offered us raincoats only at 10 Yuan each predicting the rain. Moreover, she also saw us off at the bus stop clarifying all the routes to the subway. Must stay, highly recommended!

I can only recommend this homestay. The couple that runs it is great and very warm hearted. They even cooked me some dinner. The location is only 10 minutes away from the entrance to the great wall and next to a shuttle stop that goes back to Beijing.
