I booked this guesthouse at the tail end of the May Day holiday. The owner was all smiles and explained everything in detail, showing great consideration and attentive service. Every detail of the guesthouse was meticulously arranged. Let me elaborate: First, I felt very safe and secure. Although it's only been open for a few years, it's comparable to a five-star hotel. The facilities are very modern and smart, with a smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer, and an extra-thick mattress that's incredibly elastic and supportive. The pillows were my favorite part—perfectly sized and bouncy without collapsing after one night's sleep. They're better than any five-star hotel I've ever stayed in! I immediately asked the owner for the brand and ordered some myself. The cleanliness was impeccable; everything was new, giving me peace of mind. Second, I had a great time. When visiting Shidu, you naturally want to enjoy water activities. Their villa is just one kilometer downhill from Legu Yintan, close to the attractions yet without the hustle and bustle. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the city. You can play outside during the day and return to your quiet home at night, making it perfect for family trips. Thirdly, the food was safe and reliable. The breakfast provided by the restaurant was clean and hygienic, including porridge, steamed buns, and three types of side dishes. They even gave breakfast to two children for free. Especially the nearby Liping Restaurant, which they partner with, had reasonably priced, delicious, and generous portions. For example, the grilled rainbow bream at the Shidu Scenic Area costs 130 yuan, but theirs was bigger and tasted the best I've ever had, only 88 yuan! Their lamb skewers were large and hand-skewered, only 3 yuan each, while the Shidu Scenic Area charges 5 yuan. The children still wanted more before leaving. Fourthly, they offered a comprehensive tour package. The restaurant has partnered tour guides who offer significant discounts at scenic spots. You know how much the discounts are—I can't say, or the owners of the other attractions will kill me! On the way back, we kept talking about it and made a promise with the restaurant that we should stay at their place for a few days every year and have them show us around, including that delicious grilled rainbow bream—just thinking about it makes my mouth water.
