Amazing stay in Beijing Placid Lake Resort! We spend a full day there and stayed for half weekend too! Absolutely worth visiting! Location: 30 minutes drive from Beijing Changping subway station. In the middle of the natural park area. Accommodation: I had booked a 2 single beds room mistakenly, but the friendly stuff put the beds together and made it really comfortable for us! Facilities: everything is brand new and clean, the park territory is huge, it has a farm and playground for kids, perfect to stay with babies! Hot springs are convenient, there are about 12 to 15 hot spring baths, and the swimming pool is warmed up! Especially I’d like to mention the baby pool with balls! It’s amazing and my baby loved it! Food: there are three restaurants and 2 lounge bars. Western and Chinese restaurants work all the time, I haven’t checked the German restaurant because you have to make a booking and it was booked mostly all the time, so think about it in advance. Staff: I wanted to say special thanks to Liuyinuo! This lovely girl had my personal number and texted me about all the services! She also brought baby bathrobe as I requested and made my stay absolutely non-troubling! She told me where to find attractions for me and the baby, booked restaurant for me and gave me a special gift! My stay was wonderful because of her! Great place for kids My son really enjoyed the themed room, and the adjacent play area. The nearlyby pettiing zoo and outdoor play area were great too. The swimming areas and hot pools were fun for both him and us parents. Service was good. Breakfast was a little basic as was the buffet dinner. The nearby German restaurant was very good though, but booking is recommended at busy times. Lots of other things we could have done had we more time. Certainly on our next visit.
