Beijing Qianmen Shàn Hotel

Instantly fell in love with this hotel – it's like a hidden gem nestled in a hutong. Everything is so exquisitely designed, with incredible attention to detail. The staff are exceptionally warm, gentle, and attentive. I also adored the downstairs cafe; it's incredibly therapeutic and serves excellent coffee.

Whenever I visit Beijing, I always choose this hotel. I've stayed here twice before and had wonderful experiences. Its location in a hutong near Qianmen Street is fantastic, placing it close to major attractions like the Palace Museum, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum. I particularly appreciate the hotel's design, especially the bed, which isn't too high and is perfect for my height. The staff are incredibly polite; they even contacted me before check-in to confirm my arrival time and notified me when a package arrived for me to pick up downstairs. The rooms are also spotless and cleaned daily. Lastly, being on Qianmen Street means there's an abundance of great food options to explore. I'll definitely be booking this hotel again on my next trip to Beijing.

Stayed for two nights, it was really convenient for attending a concert, with a direct subway line (Line 8). The front desk staff was super thoughtful; when they saw I was there for a concert during check-in, they gave me some concert merchandise. The room was cleaned perfectly every day, and toiletries were refilled promptly. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Beijing. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

Every time I visit Beijing, I stay at Shan. It's my child and my favorite hutong hotel. It's conveniently located, and the staff are incredibly nice, patient, and thoughtful, making our stay very comfortable. They even thoughtfully prepared small gifts for my child. The hotel's location offers excellent views. It's a hotel I'll keep coming back to.

The location is excellent, right on Beihuo Shan Hutong, opposite the Chocolate Museum in Beijingfang. Qianmen Street, Dashilar, Xianyu Kou, and Yangmeizhu Xiejie are all nearby. The hotel lobby has a courtyard cafe, which is a bit pricey, but hotel guests get a discount. The room decor is still quite new, but the design is a bit lacking – there's no desk, and we couldn't fully open two large suitcases. Ultimately, the superb location made up for it.

I absolutely love the minimalist, wood-themed design of this hotel. The combination of greenery and new Chinese aesthetics is simply stunning. The location is truly central, embodying the old Beijing style. Tucked away in a hutong, it perfectly captures the city's vibrant everyday life, yet remains a hidden gem. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions. The service is also excellent – very attentive and thoughtful, truly enhancing the overall experience.

The hotel's design is very unique, offering a tranquil escape in a bustling area. There's a coffee shop on the ground floor next door, which attracts a lot of stylish women, and their coffee and pastries are surprisingly good. There's also a laundry room on the first floor. It's about 200 meters from Siji Minfu and Chen Ji Lu Zhu by subway. The front desk service was exceptional; I received a handwritten welcome letter and a photo from the hotel upon check-in, which was a really touching gesture.

I was here for a concert, and the hotel really offered a great price, especially considering the demand. They even prepared a little gift for us in advance. The receptionist was super friendly and went out of her way to meet our needs. The room was cozy and comfortable, and I absolutely loved the soft bedding. I'll definitely be back!

This is our second time booking, and we're very satisfied with the hotel; everything is excellent. The tatami beds are comfortable for both seniors and children, and the amenities are all high-end. The service is as thoughtful as ever, and you can always find someone if you have any questions. We will definitely book again next time.
