I think it's pretty good! The location is great and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They recommended a restaurant, which was delicious! Shinbashi Restaurant~~~

This hotel is incredibly old, feels like a 70s building that hasn't been renovated at all. There are absolutely no facilities, not even an elevator. However, the front desk manager was very nice; he readily helped us carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The only other upside is the location – it's very convenient to walk to Guijie Street and Yonghe Temple.

This was the worst (and most expensive) hotel I stayed at during my month travels in China. The usual standards in China have been really high, but this hotel seems like it’s out of touch with times. The whole place needs a transformation. When looking at the outside facade you could see several windows missing. Our room was on the second floor - I’m not even sure the whole place is in operation. Seemed kind of like a ghost house. Our room was super worn down - walls were dirty, there was a footprint on the ceiling, curtains were hanging torn from the hooks. Towels were changed everyday, which was positive (if you are into that) but sometimes the new towels provided would have big holes from being used for so long. Not a nice feeling. Hotel provides kettle, and two bottles of water everyday, but only two paper cups and no new ones when you have used them. They enter your room everyday for towels and water - but beds were almost never made. The male staff was rude and didn’t seem like they wanted to help with guidance and advice and most of them ignored us when we came and went. The check in took ages and we had to fill out all kinds of papers we never filled out before. I’m presuming it’s the papers that are given to the police we filled out ourselves.

The hotel urgently needs to renovate! Too old to stay, specially bathroom is super old like over 100 years old. No elevator, bad smell, room facilities also very old. Room was different than it’s photo on trip.com.

The average score of this hotel in trip.com is around 8. Lower you expectations as this hotel is a clear 6/10. It is cheap and this is reflected in the maintenance of the room and all facilities. When I arrived,it was clear that the toilet had been used and not cleaned. After talking with the receptionist, they cleaned it very quickly. Still, the bathroom in general is not well maintained.

The first room I was given had a very small window, and the moment I walked in, there was a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the room, the mattress, and even the furniture. I initially thought it might be due to the room being closed for too long, so I tried to ventilate it, but the smell persisted and didn’t improve. The window was behind the main door on the right side and the entire room was on the extreme left side - there was no way of air circulation.  I requested a room change, and while the second room had a larger window, the same smell was present, and the mattress was extremely hard - almost like sleeping on a rock. It was uncomfortable to the point where I couldn’t sleep at all. Due to the poor conditions, I checked out the same night and moved to another hotel right across the street—Homeinn Selected Hotel , which was significantly better in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and overall environment. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!! Despite of being in the best cultural street of Beijing, it was horrible!
