Tangfu Hotel (Yonghegong Branch, Nanluoguxiang, Beijing)

The lady at the front desk was so helpful, absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly attentive. The location is also perfect, super convenient for getting around.

The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff had a great attitude. The bathroom was also clean and hygienic. The location is very close to Nanluoguxiang, which is convenient for an evening stroll, and it's also near the subway, making it easy to get around.

Facilities: They're alright, nothing special to comment on. Hygiene: We booked two rooms. There was blood on the duvet in our room, but we were too tired to notice when we got back at night. We only saw it in the morning, it was absolutely disgusting. My friend's room reeked to high heaven; they got a new room the next day. Environment: The surroundings are very convenient, with Guijie Street and Nanluoguxiang nearby, and it's not far from the subway station. However, the noise is a huge problem. A hotel is a place for rest, but every morning there was incessant banging and clanging – I have no idea what they were drilling. After a tiring day out, all I wanted was a good rest, but I was woken up by the hammering every single day. Service: I rarely leave negative reviews for businesses. I reported the blood on the duvet the next morning, but not a single staff member contacted me, nor did they show any concern. Speechless.

The location is unbeatable, really close to Nanluoguxiang, Yonghe Temple, and Prince Gong's Mansion. It's super convenient to get around either on foot or by bike. They also have spacious king rooms perfect for families with kids. Plus, there's a fruit store and plenty of dining options right downstairs. Highly recommended, I'd definitely come back!

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews. First, the location is great, just a few hundred meters from Nanluoguxiang. Second, Yin San Douzhi is right next door, offering an authentic taste of old Beijing. Lastly, the hotel upgraded our room, which was fantastic! It was a family room with bunk beds, very nice.

This hotel is incredibly convenient! It's super close to Gulou, Nanluoguxiang, and Guozijian. The front desk staff were so welcoming and enthusiastic; they even helped us carry our heavy luggage to our Didi car.
