MUJI HOTEL BEIJING

The hotel was comfortable and the front desk service was good. I didn't get any sleep all night due to a flight delay. The Muji front desk staff upgraded my room after consulting with their supervisor.

The room was clean and the service was excellent. We got a 10% discount at the Muji store downstairs, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was also fantastic, with very fresh ingredients.

Great location with convenient transportation and dining options. Overall, a very good experience.

Very Japanese minimalist, I love this style. It's clean, simple, and the aromatherapy diffuser smells wonderful. I already like the MUJI style, so I'll definitely be back for another staycation.

Check-in Experience I arrived in Beijing in the early hours of the morning, checking in close to 3 AM. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and proactively upgraded my reserved C-type room to a D-type room for free. Once in the room, the overall experience was largely consistent with what I'd seen on Ctrip and Xiaohongshu reviews – both comfort and attention to detail were satisfactory. The disposable slippers, in particular, deserve praise; they are among the best quality I've encountered in any hotel. The welcome snacks and complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge were also a nice touch. The front desk even provides a toiletries kit with a toothbrush and mini toothpaste, which is practical and convenient, and you can get more if needed. Location and Dining The hotel's biggest advantage is its location. It's incredibly convenient for visiting attractions like the National Museum, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square, and the Monument to the People's Heroes, with security checkpoints just a few hundred meters walk away. Dining is available on both the first and fourth floors of the hotel. Breakfast, at 68 RMB per person, offered fresh ingredients and attentive service, exceeding my expectations. The fourth-floor terrace has excellent natural light, and the restaurant windows overlook Zhengyangmen, with distant views of Tiananmen Square. The view is especially stunning on clear days, and many visitors even come specifically for coffee and the scenery. Overall Impression As someone who's always wanted to experience a Muji Hotel, I finally got my wish on this trip, fulfilling a small desire. The hotel generally maintains the simple and comfortable Japanese style. The surrounding commercial facilities are excellent, with malls and large bookstores within walking distance. Although the price isn't cheap, considering the brand quality, service level, and prime location, I believe it offers good value for money and is highly recommended. Small Suggestion: During my extended stay, the slippers and some drinks weren't replenished promptly and only arrived after I requested them from the front desk. I suggest enhancing daily room resupply details to make the service even more thorough.

Minimalist Japanese style. Toothbrushes, shower gel, and hand soap are all MUJI products. They even offer a donut and crispy noodles as a welcome gift! The slippers are yours to keep. There's also a MUJI store downstairs that you can browse. We were in a bit of a rush, so unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant. We received a free room upgrade and got to sleep in a spacious 1.8-meter bed. The soundproofing, however, is quite poor; we could hear conversations from the next room very clearly. Considering the price and its proximity to Tiananmen Square, it's still a decent place to stay.

This stay exceeded my expectations in terms of environment, facilities, and service, adding many wonderful memories to my Beijing trip. I highly recommend it to travelers who appreciate a minimalist lifestyle and prioritize accommodation quality. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Beijing. The hotel environment is very quiet, clean, and tidy. The kids also loved the small snacks provided by Muji. Additionally, the breakfast area was very comfortable!
