Rust Hotel (Beijing National Exhibition Center Yonghe Temple Subway Station Branch)

I stayed here by myself. The king room was a bit small, and there was some noise from people walking by in the morning since I was on the first floor. The highlight was the female supervisor at breakfast – she was incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast itself was plentiful and satisfying, definitely better than the room. The hotel is about 300 meters from Ditan Park, which is large and beautiful. There's also the 'Tree of Yu Hua, Friend of Tiesheng' (铁生的朋友余华的树) nearby, which is a nice touch.

I booked a special offer, windowless king room… they called it a 'special offer room'. The room was on the first-floor hallway. As soon as I got the room number, I had a bad feeling, and sure enough… it was incredibly noisy! Speechless. I could hear everything clearly from the front desk, conversations, phone ringing… it was pure noise pollution. I didn't sleep well for two nights; it was like people were talking right outside my door. If you're a light sleeper, absolutely do NOT book this room type! I suggest they add a note for this room type: 'hallway, not soundproofed'. To top it off, at 2 AM one night, the power went out in the room. The AC stopped working, couldn't charge anything… had to call the front desk. After a while, someone came to fix it… didn't get resolved until 3 AM! 💢😡 Absolutely terrible. The hairdryer was also an issue; it kept popping out while I was using it 😵… Later, I had to request a room change myself before they finally moved me to the second floor. They didn't seem to take it very seriously anyway. This Beijing trip was completely ruined by this hotel. Speechless, speechless, speechless…

The room was clean and had a window, and it was quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly and offered free luggage storage for guests. Auntie No. 22 in the restaurant was incredibly enthusiastic, and the breakfast was delicious and exactly to my taste. Thank you!

A perfect stay! The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, the service was wonderfully warm, and the room was so quiet and peaceful. I felt right at home. It'll be my top choice next time! Convenient transportation, highly recommended.

Excellent stay! The hotel is really close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. They even have a cute robot that delivers food from outside, which was a fun surprise. The cleaning lady on the second floor was incredibly diligent every day; coming back after work to a spotless room felt so comfortable. All the amenities, like the hairdryer, were fully stocked. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

The hotel is located in a residential area with a mall and supermarket nearby. The environment is pretty good, but the only drawback is that my room smelled strongly of smoke. I hope the front desk can remind guests about the no-smoking policy again.
