HanTing Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station North Square)

The room was clean and tidy. Although there was no robot delivery service and takeaways had to be left on the small table outside the door, the location was truly excellent. The entrance to the South Railway Station was right to the right when you stepped out, making it incredibly convenient for catching trains and taking the subway.

The service was excellent, and the bed was just the right firmness. It's conveniently located just 50 meters from Beijing South Station's North Exit, making transportation a breeze. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a great value. Highly recommended!

Right outside the station, this hotel is perfect for families with kids. You can drop off your luggage and then head out! It's fantastic! There's a laundry room with detergent and disinfectant provided!

I genuinely recommend this hotel; I was very satisfied with everything. The Hanting Hotel at Beijing South Railway Station has an excellent location; you can walk directly to the station, which is super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept soundly. Check-in at the front desk was fast, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The hot water was stable, and the WiFi was smooth. It's a worry-free and comfortable stay for catching high-speed trains or for a layover, offering great value for money.

Terrible! The hotel should have measures in place for the massive renovation noise from the train station! Rooms on the side facing the construction site are absolutely impossible to sleep in! How can they still assign guests to these rooms??!!! ☹️🙄 This hotel is right by the station, primarily for guests catching early trains, so why does breakfast only start at 7 AM???!!! Even if breakfast starts at 7 AM, if guests paid for breakfast and have an even earlier train, shouldn't the hotel prepare a grab-and-go breakfast for them??! I paid for a room with breakfast when booking, but the front desk attendant just casually handed me a piece of bread as if that was good enough????!! This is simply outrageous!!

The location is fantastic, perfect for high-speed rail travelers – just a short walk to the station. The room facilities and amenities are also great. I do have a small suggestion, though. Last month when I checked in with my child, my ID was in the room, and the front desk gentleman allowed me to use a photo of my ID on my phone to check in. However, this time, the front desk lady insisted on seeing the original ID, forcing me to go back up to my room to retrieve it. I'm not saying she was wrong for following regulations, but it feels like it's not strictly necessary to have the original ID, otherwise, the previous gentleman wouldn't have allowed it. Providing convenience for guests should be a priority.

The room's environment, hygiene, and facilities were all excellent. What really stood out was the amazing service from the two ladies at the front desk. They were incredibly patient and attentive. Seeing that we had just arrived from the heat outside, they proactively offered us iced water to cool down. They also noticed we had children with us and gave them cute little hair clips, which the kids absolutely loved and were so happy about! I also recommend booking the breakfast; it was quite good too 😊
