Jingtie Hotel (Beijing West Railway Station South Square)

Awesome hotel! Our room had a full projector screen on one wall that we watched a movie on - that was a fun feature. Very clean and lots of space in the room, plus suuuper nice bathroom! Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. It's also literally right next to the train station which makes it very convenient.

Decent room Very helping staff Just literally next door to high speed railway station Very nice breakfast though no juices available but rest everything was great. Loved the breakfast and packaging of toiletries . Only issue was sir condition was either not working properly or may be I was so bad with chinese language that I could not understand how to operate air conditioning controls. Great stay Must visit if travelling from high speed trains

This hotel is right next door to BeijingXi (West) Station, which is great. I chose this hotel due to early train (but was cancelled due to wind storms here). The hotel receptionists were lovely, kind & helpful. The guard(?) was hoiking up phlegm like no tomorrow. It was disgusting. Perhaps do that outside but not in the hotel reception. It claims to be a 'no smoking hotel', but the walls are thin & I could hear the room nextdoor opening their window, which coincided with fresh cigarette stench. You can smell smoke all thru the halls. I know, as I got lost a few times trying to find the lifts. Signage would be helpful. If there was a fire....good luck! The room &bathroom was very clean, but there was a fecal wiff coming from the bathroom pipes maybe? Might want to get the source of that sorted. I couldn't relax there, so I left. I was offered another room, but gaslighting me with 'but this is a non-smoking hotel' shtick was laugh. It is a perfunctory venue. I'm now at the Yun-Zen JinLing Lotus hotel, a quick toddle across the plaza, classy room twice the size with a deck& zen pond at half the price/night.
